Root voodoo5 kernels are here

Nemesis2all. Compiled it and wonsae linked it in irc yesterday

12/2 was just randomly posted in #samsung-fascinate yesterday at one point. Nemesis built it off jt1134's source. So that may be the reason its not listed in rrc since JT didnt build it.
I knew he was building them and some guys have tested his beta and what not is this the first one he released?

for those who care nemesis2all just threw up a 12/3 voodoo which is based on the stable version of voodoo5 not just the test one [not sure if 12/2 is the same or not]. Also he later plans to throw up a voodoo-ized version of stupidfast. That should be interesting.

I thought from the way he was talking 12/2 was not..i could be wrong tho wouldn't be the first time

I already got two just sitting on sd card not installed now your telling me theres on more choices choices..
welcome to irc, where every minute is a lifetime
funny thing is in a few minutes/hours nemesis2all will have his stupidvoodoo up giving 3 12/03 voodoo kernels today/this afternoon ;)

How is the latest stupidfast vs JT's 11/29 or whatever non-voodoo?

Does Voodoo allow creation of nandroids without disabling yet? Can you restore them without disabling?

Geeknik 1.69 is good at least as good as 1.54, who it compares to 11/29 more or less the same.
In voodoo if you have a December kernel than yes you can now do everything in red cwm, everything

Do I need to run a theme with power button reboot recovery to get in red cwm? Or can it be done via ROM manager or manually with power/volume? I seem to remember that being an issue at some point.

reboot recovery = red
rom manager = green
power/volume = red

About to update to dj05 finally..is there a difference between doing a backup in CWM versus the nandroid backup in the android recovery menu?

Thanks!

The process yes but the net result no of course not either will work, might wanna think about which way you'd be restoring said back up too

OK it's not a theory and you don't need Odin just flash it on the phone through cwm
Also you can only replace v5 completely by flashing 1129 non voodoo or possible using Odin to restore it all back to stock. You seem to have Odin on your mind and imo you should stay away from it unless you need to. What are you trying to do just remove V5?

do you have any link to jt 1129 nonvoodoo?

Wow i missed a lot of kernels when working. :)

Ill have to grab them in irc tomorrow and try em out
You know the time conversion, one hour of IRC = a darn long time in the real world.;) Not kidding, in like a 15 minutes period nemsis2all dropped his 12/03 stable voodoo and then jt came in and dropped his 12/03 voodoo too :D
