Actually this release is dated March 23 and hasn't been sent to Verizon for testing yet. It is strait from Moto.

I was thinking get into stock recovery (Hold HOME+POWER, release POWER, press SEARCH) and click "install update.zip" from there and do a wipe, but who know for now... might have to root my stock if it doesn't work that way.

Id just install like normal with wiping and mounting, then if there is an issue go back in to factory and wipe.

I'm running it now, it seems really smooth so far, the transitions are nice too. the only thing missing is root.........but soon it will come, I hope

This app is defiantly worth the $1.99 and it goes to supporting a great team that provides the community with lots of new builds, ROMs and apps!
I just hope this forum doesn't turn into what's going on in the Samsung Fascinate one.
There, every week there's a new post about a "blogger" saying 2.2 Froyo is coming out and they all hold their breaths and say what they hope is improved, and then they never get it.
The sad part is when you challenge them and say, where's your source...they get all mad. These bloggers are overpopulating the internet and are less credible than an internet news report. They have no real source, and are almost never correct about these things.
You'll get it when you get it. No word from Verizon means none of these bloggers are accurate. I wouldn't be against the idea of making it forum rule to stop posting blogger articles.
