Alright I finally got a descent response from them:

Thank you for your appreciation to Huawei Device ,we have submited your request of releasing Huawei Ascend 2.6.32 source ,we sticks to the GPL and will release the source in the near future ,it might take some time due to some inner procedure we need to handle before we upload it to our website .

Yes I believe it is because they uploaded it today, the 4th!

I looked through the source. I didn't see anything specific to the M860. This seems to be a kernel for a different device.

Did Huawei close their inbox? I tried to email them again and this is what I got:

I tried again but it still wouldn't work. So anyway does this message make sense:

I am emailing to request the release of the Huawei Ascend 2.6.32 source/kernel specifically for the Huawei Ascend M860 as specified by GPL laws on open source programming. Please grant this request, as there are many Huawei Ascend owners who wish to improve their phones, and your company's failure to release an approved upgrade is not acceptable.

After posting once in the Forum I was not able to post back and now the forums are gone.
A shity company that does not like communication, and they do phones, what an oxymoron.
