What are you currently reading?

Currently reading Les Miserables, The Pianist, The Gun Machine, and working my way through the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich.

I always have several books going at once. Before I became a Nook convert, I kept one by the bed, one in my purse and one or more in the car.

got it from work for personal development, its called:
Strengths Finder 2.0

I am not so sure I agree with it thus far.. in it they tell you to ditch the whole "You can be what you want to be" maxim and only apply yourself to things you can already do.

Not quite sure I agree with that so much

Currently reading/listening to:

Catalina's Riddle by Steven Saylor

Empire A Novel of Imperial Rome by Steven Saylor

The Land of the Painted Caves by Jean Auel

Nemesis by Lindsey Davis

SPQR The Land of Confusion by John Maddox Roberts

The Last Confessor by Terry Goodkind

I am addicted to historical novels based on Ancient Rome from 100 B. C. to 100 A.D. I am also a big fan of Terry Goodkind and the Sword of Truth series and Jean Auel's Earth Children series based on years of research on the era of early humans circa 30,000 years ago.

Books and tech... The best of the past and the future. ;)

Mostly Crime and Thrillers. Nice of you to ask!

Sadly, that's one genre I am not well-versed in. I've read most, if not the V.I. Warshawski books by Sara Paretski, and I've started reading the Tempe Brennan books by Kathy Reichs... Both feature strong female protagonists, if that's your thing.

Probably most readers hit a slump every once in awhile. I found a new author that looks like he will be good, but it is his first book.
