Regular Shiner, black lager, and 1909 are finely crafted beers. I like some of the Oct and winter fest beers by other brewers. I'm a big fan of Modelo Negra but I don't get a discount on imported beers. 1909s have been my beer of choice for a while now. It isn't carried by all stores but my store stocks them by the case for me. And yes, I am a frequent flyer. 
My son loves his IPAs. I have had a few and just can't get onto the taste. I'm not saying they are bad, they just aren't me.
