just started to use Opera Mobile, With "Opera Turbo" turned on. Not as fast as they advertise but will continue to give it a try.

tried the released Opera Mobile 10.1 (beta) and what a let down. as it is right now, Opera Mobile is not any better (as a whole) than other browser options. Even with Turbo turned on, it's not that much faster on my Epic 4G. Worse, there's no way to force 'desktop' view. (if anyone can figure out how to get a full view of the CNN site, let me know. i have tried every setting options.)

i'll wait until hardware acceleration is available.

using opera mobile right now. so far so good. very fluid. though i need to tap each time to get the text to frame right where xscope did it automatically. haven't tried firefox yet.

In opera address bar, type "opera:config" hit enter. Scroll down to and tap "user preferences". Scroll down to "minimum font size". Change the value to 18. Scoll down to the bottom of the page and tap "save".
This should suit your fancy. :)

Actually, there's a setting in settings for the text fit that can do it on a tap or automatically. Figured that out after more playing. Though I just uninstalled it and went back to an old version of xscope. Its tabbed setup is so much easier, and I like how it hides toolbars until you need them. I get some text box issues every now and then, but that's about it.

I have firefox too, but I haven't taken to it the few times I've tried it out.

I like XScope the best, too. I have tried everything that people have mentioned, here. XScope is the onl one that jus seems perfect to me. It's fast as stock (as far as I can see, anyway) It looks great. Pinch zoom is fantastic. Love the tabs. Love the toolbars. It just fits.

I have switched over to XScope as well. it works great, I like the tabs and toolbar for active surfing.

I like options to use the volume key as a scroll. A switcher between tabs would be a good option for the volume key also.

I really like Opera Mini, it was fast and smooth but I missed multitouch and text wrapping. I switched over to Opera Mobile but honestly it's been kind of crappy... Its slower then the old version, not nearly as smooth, pages load weird sometimes (things overlap slightly) and worst of all sometimes it won't load pages. I can type in a search bar and continually hit the button on screen and it won't respond at all.

Oh and saving pictures is bad too, it doesn't go to the downloads folder and sometimes it will refuse to save. Clicking on embedded Youtube windows doesn't take you to the app either, it tries to stream it to the video player and usually fails.
