No worries. I just wanted to chime in that I wasn't having problems. Wasn't aware of the problems from the first release.

lol .. got a laugh out of this ... :D Anyway, most of the issues I have been seeing people have with .6 are the same issues I saw people having with .3.
 
I'm sure it's been discussed already, but has anybody figured out how to get Swype working or is it not possible?

only showing 2 apps in the download section of my marketplace. google maps and world newspapers pro. stock OTA update.

This will sort itself out with time.
Can try to update an app/ install an app/ ect... Just to get the market to refresh for you.

Oh, like that "hawkijustin" character. That dude was out of control. He will be very sad that their are still bugs in the "official" version. It's not like HTC spent the weekend debugging and coding. They spent that time changing the file name from .3 to .6.

The good news is we all have Froyo now. And no bugs encountered in my .3 version so far.

LOL...Yeah, I got an email from swype leading me to the FAQ explanation for that fix. Done and I confirm it works.

You don't even need to go through the whole "install" process of clicking on the original link you receive from Android. After uninstalling, based on their FAQ instructions, just go to your download folder on your SD card and click on the APK for SWYPE that should still be in there.
 
Man my evo is acting stupid!!! Nothing will go out of landscape mode and I have sooooo much lag when scrolling on the browser Wtf?

Have you tried just a simple reboot yet?
Also in the browser make sure you have plug-ins set to "on demand" instead of "always on.
 
So I installed the "unofficial version" Sometimes in the middle of a app my screen goes white with the HTC logo, then loading comes up after that my phone goes back to the home screen. IS anyone else having this issue. THX!
