Under paid Sasquatch!
So I'm reiterating something I stated like at late 7ish this morning. Top parts in response to dkortic(sp?) with the rest being the good stuff.
This mostly answers to anyone shouting out -lier- towards BlueMoon.
Now I have to admit from what I've seen there's dlna and usb but Micro hdmi port is out and there's a missing kickstand plus 1.3 front camera, not 3. Even if Sprint's heavily modified phones befpre after they get the base prototype from HTC this seems extreme. I'm hoping BlueMoon can clarify. Keep in mind I haven't really read this forum yet but its just a post thats anticipating community backlash.
Your beer of choice I'm guessing...
In terms of the camera, you're not going to get double the pixels from stitching together 2 shots taken stereoscopically. There's not way to correct for parallax to yield more detail. Even if one were to combine two identical shots taken from the same absolute position, which the EVO 3D can't do, the combined photo would still not yield any more detail than one photo (though you could get improvements in dynamic range and low-light noise).
And check out his signature from one of the posts:
"VP of one company/Chairman of another company/Fellow of IEEE/Phd. Mathematics /Phd. Computer Science /Phd. Plasma Physics /US Naval Pilot (5 Tours in Afghanistan and Iraq)"
I'm in a Ph.D. program at the moment, and I have no idea how a single person would have the time to complete three separate doctoral programs in decently divergent fields... as well as serve 5 tours as a naval pilot. Do you know how many years of intense work a typical doctoral program requires? How grueling military pilot training is? ... and then somehow to rise in ranks to become a VP of a company... all while fighting in two wars over the last decade?
There are many things coming out in the camera world that are pretty amazing, so just because you don't know about it doesn't mean it can't be. There are numerous software products available that do correct for parallax as well as many other camera and/or lens aberrations. Also, improvements in dynamic range and noise reduction would directly result in more image detail. Having two cameras makes this a perfect candidate for HDR imaging.
Lastly, I have known people who got their first Phd by 25, and subsequent degrees are the doctorate program only. There are a lot of multiple Phd's out there.
In fact, I sometimes do six impossible things before breakfast!
