Root What new rom should I try?

I've been running and loving Ming 3.0 for a while now. Probably my longest running rom without flashing something else. But I think I've overloaded it with apps, as it's starting to have some boot loops and the web browser force closes a lot. Not knocking the rom at all though.

I will most likely flash Tommy's newest classic when it comes out next week. But I'd like to play with something new till then. Maybe an ics rom or one of the newer 3.5 roms, or anything really. What do you suggest?

If youve been on the same rom for a while and it starts lagging or bugging out, wiping dalvik cache/cache usually helps the rom get back to speed.

I figured there was some option like that. But I've got the itch. Think I need something new to play with.

Thanks

I had the itch..then i found mikg3.0 and it cured it :) sorry i cant lay out much options. Try browsing through the roms download thread and flash away. Theres a good list there.

Tommy's Classic EVO.

Sense 1.0 redefined as he calls it :D

Its very fast, very light, and has great battery life. Pair it up with AnthraX or Lithids aggressive freedom and have a good time.

There will be a major update by next week, so if you can hold off til then it'll be worth not having to re-flash..

Or, if you have the itch to flash go ahead and do it now.:D

Try out MikRunny Beta. Sense 3.5, pretty solid rom. There are a few bugs, it's still in beta, but aamikam's and Newts roms are almost RC roms by this point. ;)

I didnt see the part about you wanting to try something till Tommy's Classic :o
Fail.

Try a sense 3.5 ROM till then

No worries brother, all advice is appreciated. :)

I had to :D

I am leaning towards Jared the greats ICS, The express rom, ghost devs honybread or ICS roms, and RCMix 3d at this point.

Theres no penalty for multiple flashes in a day:D[/QUOTE said:
Whew, thank god! I'd be in deep doo doo. :-)

I highly recommend preludedrew's ICS. It'll be a whole new experience for ya. I'm currently running this rom and I'm pretty madly in love. I'm running p6 and its very very stable. The most stable ICS I've found thus far. Not a single fc or random reboot.

I would also consider JaredTheGreat's ICS rom as well. I have not had any FC or reboots either. Plenty of support from a great dev. I have been using it as my DD for two weeks and have not had to go back to CM7.

I agree, Jared the Great's ICS is awesome. If you do either ICS rom I highly recommend taking the Nova Launcher from Honeybread's ICS rom

I can not find his ROM in the ROM and Kernel thread :(

I'll vote for NRG's Energy 3.5 rom, smoothest and most stable 3.5 rom out there, imo

Just got my evo, used but I dont mind I am using decks gingerbread 1.3 appears based on cm7 and very good. I am liking it I was thinking of putting on the cm7 but may just leave this for now. when ics gets less beta I may go to that.

I tried the Express rom, it was cool, but wasn't exactly what I expected. But I really liked the dock at the bottom. Then tried honeybread. It is really kind of neat, but probably a little too different for me to take the time to figure out how to set it up and use it before the new classic comes out.

So now, I guess I have to try one of the ICS or 3.5 roms. Hmm, Jareds or preludedrew's? NRG's, team blaze, rcmix, or warm?
