I could have reverse seared a nice USDA Prime Cowboy Ribeye this evening, but our local American Legion Post is holding a spaghetti dinner fundraiser. $10 for spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and drink. So we'll support our peeps, since they supported our VFW all-you-can-eat breakfast this morning.

Long day - we were there, cooking, at 5 AM!

Sautéed up 2 lbs of jumbo shrimp/ cut into bite size and mix them into homemade fried rice with bite sized vegetables in it ....

You've made me hungry for salmon. I bought a nice looking fillet at Costco that will be blackened on the Blackstone sometime this week. Seasoned with onion and garlic powder, cayenne pepper. oregano, and salt and pepper. A lemon juice finish for the wife and none for me.
