Root What's the best ROM out there?

I'm really thinking that I'll be rooting as soon as there is a root for this latest OTA gingerbread update. What are some of the ROM's out there and which are the best ones? I know I will get a mixed bag. So far I really like cyanogen.

CM7 is awesome. There are alot of themed versions of it out there as well as the original. "Best" all depends on what you are looking for. Once you are able to root, the best thing you can do is look around and try the ones out that look appealing to you. Nandroids are your friend in root.

come on now, asking what is the best rom is asking what is the best jelly for your toast! If you like aosp then prob cm7 but if you like sense, they are all just as good. All have diff flavors but everyone has diff tastes. I am now waiting on my evo 3d to be released!

I hope so. Trying to DL'ed the MikG 1.02 but the site is down for maintenance or something right now. I am kind liking Sense 2.1 so I really hope that Virus gets 3.0 stable in his next release.
 
issues so far...apparently during set up you need to uncheck htc feedback or it fcs to high heaven?, calendar widget still looks a little borked, one person reported sense reloads...? I have 8 seconds on my dl i'll let you know...

dl'ed done here but no time to flash right now. cars to fix ;)
 
Virus' Kingdom v1.3 was already released;)


So far, I'm liking MikG version of Sense 2.1 + 3.0. It's nice and smooth, not many issues with this rom and with the official kernel being released, no more screen issues:D:D
 
OK so I just flashed this and it is 1000 times more stable than it was in previous versions, no double reboot on first load, sense hasnt reloaded, no playing catch the ring on the first unlock, no lag, this may be my rom until i grab a 3D.

Calendar widget is a bit wonky still but whatevs its worth it to be running 3.0.

Dont get me wrong I will still try myns warm 2.3 when its ready (synergy should go beta in a day or two its pretty stable, then myn will use that as a base for his new warm 2.3)

I'll post issues if I find any...
