Here, the only time the humidity grabs my attention is when it's "fire weather" low--as in single digits, combined with high temperatures. The rest of the time I just laugh at my fellow natives as they're complaining about how HUMID it is...
The high (for here) humidity is not that uncommon this time of year. But we did not receive the big spring rains this year. I don't really know why we have higher than normal humidity. Then I have to say it is extremely odd not to have some wind. It's almost always windy.. after all, it is Kansas. My wind gauge shows ZERO wind and has most all week.
