Tornado Warning here. It's the storm from Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri yesterday.
Stay safe! That storm whistled through here last night. There was no local damage but the system did drop 1.08" of desperately needed rain.
more rain coming for LA. its supposed to be way less intense then the storm that hit us on Friday and Saturday.
The moisture you are getting has to be welcomed unless it's causing mud slides.
we are still in a drought so any rain is welcome. curious to see when the snow melts, who much they will fill our lakes and reservoirs.
It's been unusually dry here since last spring but no shortage or restrictions. I hope California recovers from your shortage. I understand that has been a near dire situation. Good luck.
Once we pull out of the drought, i think the next worry is the Colorado river in which some of the water goes to California. there is a growing concern about who should get what.

I've seen low water level of Lake Mead. Alarming! We had a couple of tornadoes touchdown yesterday. The one in Wheaton, IL was really close to me.

man when it rains it pours.....its no tornado, but man it feels like it has been raining for weeks here in sunny L.A.!!!!!!

Rain,turned to hail, so ice just accumilated when we left from my side occupation today, good to see a friend of mine though, I have not seen Dylan since ages ago. 
So I live in a suburb of Detroit, and last night we got 3 inches of heavy wet snow. This morning I'm using the snow blower to clear the driveway and sidewalk.
By noon it will all be melted!!!

They predicted we would get 6" to 10" of heavy wet snow yesterday and we got -0- snow and -0- rain
Currently 42 and sunny with a high of 50 today.
It's 49.6° here with 52% humidity and barometer sitting at 30.08. With a steady SSE wind at 21-23mph gusting to near 40mph. Sky is overcast with possible rain in tomorrow's forecast. In other words, another crummy day in doodah. Typical weather for the ides of March.

The wind is really ripping here this afternoon. I just recorded a 77.2 mph gust! And as I typed that, it was followed by a 62.1 mph gust.
