Get this it is currently 102,but it is massively raining out as well.

Had a couple of new butane lighters in my truck. It got hot enough that one of them blew up. No fire, just splinters of plastic everywhere

It's been cooler the last couple of days and supposed to continue the trend through the week. Mid to high eighties is the prediction. It was sixty degrees when I got up this morning. It feels like the first of September weather oddly enough.
It is slowing warming up here. The weather is still very pleasant for early September. Currently 77° with zero wind.
Was only suppose to get up to 78F/25C today, but it's currently 86F/30C, Rain is predicted for this evening
It looks like a weather front will be passing though in an hour or so. If it doesn't fall apart, it should produce some rain.
ok it is 8:21 pm here in LA and it is 94 f'ing degrees !!!!!!!!! my AC is gonna do some overtime tonight.
I honestly don't know how the weather missed me. It was moving directly towards me and has now slipped off to the East leaving me dry.
My daughter left for college over a month ago so the A/C upstairs has been set on 80°F the whole time when it's usually at 72°F when she's home and my bill this month is the most it's been all Summer 🤔
It has slowly warmed up to 63° this morning. The forecasted high for today is 76°. It seems a little early for fall type weather.
Added... It's now four PM and the temp has reached 76°. I guess the weather guy made a good guess for a change.

My weather station showed 57° when I got up and logged 55.9° as an overnight low.

Ocnbrz, I envy you!!! Its fifty degrees and windy here..
I don't envy me. Our low today is 75 degrees!!!!! At 640am it is 84!!!!!
I rather be cold and just layer up. You can't do anything other than stay in places that are air conditioned. My work van ac went out. Parts have been ordered and should arrive in a few days. Just long enough that this heat wave will cool down right when my van will be fixed.

You would enjoy our recent weather ocn. The overnight low was 57° and at 8:45 AM it's 65°. The highs are predicted to be in the mid eighties the next ten days. There is currently no rain in the 10 day.... I hope that changes.
I can sure use some of that weather right now. No ac in my work van sucks!!!!!!!!
The AC in my work truck failed to work this summer. I think it just needed charged which is a bit expensive for that system. Mostly it's not a good idea to cool down between lawns. Now the truck sleeps where all good trucks go when they are totaled.
I see that my station maxed out today at 90°. That's a bit higher than predicted but still very nice weather.
