What's the weather like where you are?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but I can describe the weather in one word --- YECCH!!

Once you get down in the single digits, +10° and -10° doesn't feel that different. We're going for the record here of longest number of consecutive "ice days" -- days where the high temp stays below freezing. If it holds on until Monday we'll have tied the record at 15 days below freezing.

Tomorrow will be 13 days for us. Brrr. Monday may or may not hit freezing, it'll be close. Right now it's -1 and feels like -20, low temp tonight is scheduled to be -10 (not counting wind chill).

Was below twenty on new years day, it is uprising around 30ish today, a bit foggy and cold, no wind though. But no sun making it really icy.

where are you located at??

Been so long that 27° right now feels like spring time! 40-50° predicted for the next couple of days with lots of rain. I'd break out the t-shirts if it wasn't for the 4' high and 6' wide snowbanks bracketing the streets and yards. I've got a feeling I'm going to need a kayak to get to work soon.

Hey Rush!

We're expecting a decent amount of rain, too, but most of the ground cover is already down to a thin layer, so that should be gone quickly. The problem is that most of the major rivers are packed with ice from the prolonged freeze. Significant rain will cause ice damning and flooding.

I might need to borrow your kayak, @dontpanicbobby .
