Woke up to 60+ and heavy rain. The rivers are already rising. By noon tomorrow we're supposed to be in the 20's going down to the single digits.

Replace "house" with "weather".

Ice was not as bad as they thought it was going to be, dodged a bullet. Supposed to get some snow (they are saying "measurable") Sunday into Monday - perfect - but it is colder than Hoth here. Brrr

I awoke to single digit temps but it's warmed up nicely. It's now seventeen degrees.

Raining today, high of 65°F, but turning back to the cold like last week, low of 33°F, and the next 4 days lows down to 25°F....

And before anyone moans that this is nothing, do realize that I am in Middle GA, not friggin NY, IL or WI....

There's about 1.5" of ice/sleet/frozen snow stuff out there, unshovelable. We're getting a few more inches of snow tomorrow. I'll shovel that back down to the ice. Ugh

Woke to -4 ambient temperature with wind chills in the -14 to -20 range. Fun stuff. I am layered and the wind can kiss mah butt.

Well I awoke to no degrees. I accumulated some during the day. I think I had fifteen at one time but now I see I only have twelve. Somebody keeps taking my degrees.

We got bushwhacked yesterday by an errant snow squall. They were predicting snow (which is still falling BTW) and since the rain from Friday had washed the roads clean of salt, they were going to re-apply during the day. The early arrival meant snow-packed roads weren't melting due to the sub-freezing temps and the skating rink soon turned into an automotive scratch and dent sale.

Unfortunately the stock weather app in my current Oppo R9 Plus doesn't tell me to wear a dress, etc.

It's 36 out there right now, it feels like beach weather after what we've been through. (And I know it's been MUCH MUCH worse for others.) Anyway, this applies to a lot of the country and to KC up until about 9 am today when the wind shifted from the South. Enjoy.

That's moving our way. It was 14°F this morning, but supposed to be 50°F by tomorrow afternoon. Let's hope Minnesota doesn't know how to play football in warmer weather.
