the pachage includes the mms fix-sometimes it doesnt stick when its included in the first flash and sometimes it takes a whole seperate flah of the fix to get it to really stick

thats exactly what i meant about the eri fix, it changes the text from CDMA to Verizon Wireless which also fixes the bug some people are having with the roaming icon.

theres also a fix for the bug that some were having that made the VM icon not clear correctly. thats fixed too

its a handcent thing i believe.
 
Already set to 1M. That's for sending messages too.

MMS that prompted me to ask this question had a 30k attachment. It was an MMS that I rec'd, not sent.
 
I like the ROM, but there are a few things I'm running into that are difficult. When you enable speakerphone in-call, it will not disable until the phone is rebooted, even after initiating another call. Also, if the number pad is scrolled out, and the backlight times out, there's no way to reactivate it; all buttons are dead except "End". This is tough on call menus. Any workarounds for these?
 
Try the touchscreen-update patch ? I have used speakerphone and it doesn't "stick" on for me. Instead of hitting "End", it sounds like you've tried ALL buttons, but the trackball or "Call" button are supposed to awaken the screen too.
 
MMS is broke in WhiteWidow, its a known fact over on the dev forums. I had to roll back to EvilEris until it gets fixed.

Love the White Widow rom though.. Super fast, but i need my MMS and to say use GMAIL for MMS is not the solution. ;)

The cyanogen mms fix worked perfect for me...it was a simple flash and it was done.

But i've heard it doesn't work for everyone.
 
ok, can anyone point me to the cyanogen mms fix? I am about to re-flash and try it again, 4.4 to EvilEris, so now going to try 4.5.

Thanks for all the hard work into this rom!

the new google apps pack has a fix. also look for conaps mms fix.
 
Ty! I hope i wont need it from what I read about the google-apps patch being applied as well to fix mms. working on it now. :P

uploading v2 of the patch. it should have the mms fix now. the format may have been a bit off earlier causing it not to stick.
 
new google-apps-etc up. should fix mms now.
you can test it by making a nand backup of your current settings, wiping data, reflashing the rom and the google apps pack.
 
The Audible app doesn't work with this rom. It just hangs on a black screen after launching. Sometimes it force closes, sometimes it just hangs there. Have to hit either end key or home key to get out of it.

I have gotten this to work on on other roms such as EE 3.0 and smash.

any help would be appreciated, it's a deal killer if the audible app doesn't work, which is a shame because this seems to be the only ROM i have been able to get spare parts to actually change the colors of notifications, etc. :(
 
I think I messed up my phone. Had 4.5 working great, then installed OC widget, and was messing with the settings, and froze it. What shall I do?
 
Tried that, still froze up. I just backed up to 4.4 and am going to reflash 4.5 again. I also had no service for a while too, but I have 1 bar now, better than what I had before.
