Root White Widow

Yes you need to flash the lock screen to the phone. Not sure the process search the forums though I'm sure instructions are out there.

I just flashed white widow 4.6 and loving it so far, but my screen never times out. I went into settings and changed the time but it still isnt timing out. Any suggestions??

Anyone else getting random reboots?

Just installed this ROM today and everytime I go to Settings > Accounts & Sync the Eris freezes and then reboots. Any ideas?

on this rom the only way to use the gallery in landscape is to launch it while holding the phone in landscape mode. You cannot rotate it while in the gallery though.

Thanks! it works! does anyone know why you cant rotate it without having to hold the phone in landscape before opening gallery?

This past weekend a new bug started with my WW setup. In mid-call my phone vibrates, and the screen shows 'no signal'. About 5 seconds later, the signal returns and I don't lose the phone call. Just plain weird.

I want to try WW, but when I attempted to flash 4.6 last night, nothing worked. It appeared to be successful, but the screen features would not work (touching screen did nothing). I had to use the track ball to close out and then I had to restore to an older ROM.

Any suggestions (tricks) to flash WW? It sounds cool.

I've noticed this as well, but mine does it at random times, nothing seems to provoke it. It has happened twice just while typing this message. I may switch to a new rom shortly as it's been going on for the last week or two. I came here to see if there was maybe a new version out, but alas..

Ok so i just flased WW but i cannot download any apps in market wsay installation failed did a reboot but still doesnt work. I do not have a2sd nor do i need it. Do i need it for this rom? Any help needed.

some people do, ive been running it w/o a2sd for a while. i cant figure out why some people get errors w/o it and others dont.

i heard about that back on like 3.x, but it only happened to one guy. i think he just wiped everything and reflashed and it worked.

it was back on the wave, maybe some of the long time users can remember.

I've had this exact same thing happen to me twice now on the CELB 2.8 ROM. Only started within the last week as well. Trying to get to the bottom of it. I noticed that after it happened I would get two entries in the call log. One would be for the initial call and the other would be for the seemingly "reconnected" call. Too weird.

I'm wondering if White Widow and CELB ROMs use the exact same dialer? I know I love the functionality of the dialer in CELB 2.8, so I would hate to have to ditch it.

I believe there might be an issue when a2sd is cooked into a ROM and you try installing said ROM with a non-partitioned SD card. I've had issues with 3 different ROMs now where turning off a2sd wouldn't really work. It seems the phone still attempts to install apps elsewhere, even after removing a2sd, resulting in an "Insufficient space" error.

Mine phone used to reboot when trying to get into the accounts and sync menu. Decided that menu was useless. After all the new updates the problem has gone away. Try reflashing.

Adrizoid. Any updates!? im getting bored lol. The cynogen froyo rom is calling my name.

Running 4.4 right now and I love it except for the prox. sensor issue. Is that resolved in 4.6?

BTW: I had trouble with 4.6...I was getting FC's. :(

i have an unpartitioned SD card and have for a long time. ive had no issues. i know cornbreadfatrs had no issue either, but theres some that do. i cant figure out what causes it though,
