Don't be a stranger :P

Okay so I talked to some Dev's who have worked on the Nook Color (totally unrelated device) about how to possibly boot from the SD card on this device....and his guess was to make an image from the partitions of our internal storage of our device and burn that image to an SD and see if it works...

if it does, then we could work on making a ROM on the SD, which would include an unlocked bootloader and everything...

Pulling all of our mounting blocks and putting them on an sd card would be easy but how to get the system to boot from the sd card?

That's the boot image I can pull all the blocks if noone else has tomorrow though I'm afraid if it works we would still have a locked bootloAdeer just booting off a SD card unless I missed something?

well if it boots off the SD card then we could make a rom and burn it to the SD card and leave the internal ROM alone...so we could bypass everything and run the entire rom off the SD card...it's what they can do with the Nook...I just figured i would give it a try, it most likely is not going to work, but we should try out anything we can think of...

So is the cwm recovery working for the lg motion 4g? If it is can i please have the link and step by step guide to correctly install cwm recovery and get the phone into the recovery.

I'm currently running through ways we could bypass the bootloader. One of my ideas is, what if we took ALL the partitions involved in booting from another phone and flashed them to ours? The only problem is the differences in hardware. Anyone know of a phone with an unlocked bootloader and similar hardware to ours?
