There is a motion running b in a metro store, he was able to copy the rils without root.

OK, well I found that "lk", returned by fastboot getvar Kernel, stands for Little Kernel. Anyone know where I can find the source for this?

It's called 2ndinit. The kernel is hijacked and loads CM10 instead, running it on top of stock firmware LOL... Only hitch is that the same stock kernel has to be used because of bootloader lock, so no overclock and such. Google 2nd-init, it's a great read

So its not possible to make a stock rom with like v6 or any time of modds because the bootlooaders telling the phone to "stick to the plan" right or what about porting another rom over like miui or something wouldnt this still be possible even with a locked bootloader?

I'm sure it's possible to port miui over to run as a 2ndinit. And judging by the rough road LG has given us, 2ndinit ROMs may be the next level of development for new phones, I'm sure since I saw a potential LG mole running around the forum. Maybe the next phone will somehow block 2ndinit method....

MIUI was ported already, but deleted due to people bricking.
