Root [WIP][PROJECT]HTC Bliss Sense 3.5! (IT LIVES!!!)

I have flashed the latest and still have no SD card access, am i missing something. Any help would be appreciated.

if you flashed the v6 beta then it should be fixed. what did you wipe? what recovery are you on? do you have your card partitioned. try wiping dalvik cache and cache and reboot. if not maybe try and wipe and reflash the rom.

I rooted using Revolutionary and i wiped all data and cache. My SD card is not partitioned does it matter?

did you wipe dalvik cache and cache?

this rom is pretty huge and i would recommend that you partition your card to use this. read the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html. there is a partitioning and moving apps to the sd section. this rom has darktremors built in so all you would need to do is partition your card. i also recommend that you get at least a class 6 card.
 
ok so looks like king is done with xda. hopefully he will continue with this rom. it really sucks how they are not getting along. i expect the thread to be closed soon. but i think that he will continue his work on his team's website; Team-Nocturnal - Portal
 
I said it before, xda is not the best place to "hang" out. It's brutal, and if you're not on your toes they'll tear you apart.
Maybe once more of the better developers quit using xda, the mods and admins might start enforcing a little morality on the site. Once you enact rules and ENFORCE them, people comply.
Like sands through the hourglass, these are the days of our lives..... :D
 
Seems like they are playing nice again for now. Just a couple of posters/devs who continually stir things up. Reminds me of a bunch of kids arguing. 274 pgs and only about 20 with useful info which is not the fault of the OP in my opinion.
 
So I have a quick question...I kind of want to try this out at some point but I am not sure I want to partition my sd card because I am weird like that. I have been meaning to get another (perhaps bigger) sd card would I be able to partition that one, flash the ROM off of there and see if I like it then switch cards and nandroid back at my whim?

Would that be a way to save my current card as is and still be able to use this ROM?

partitioning your card is super easy to do and just as easy to start over if need be. i would definitely recommend that you get at least a class 6 or higher card. you want a pretty fast card as apps will need to read and write onto your card. if you have a slow card then the app will suffer performance wise. read the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html. it has a section on partitioning. and you will need to do it with this rom.

i have not gone over there to check yet. but the one think i must say about evoking is that he does attack like the other devs are doing on his thread. the mods over at xda are very slow to react and this should have been shut down a long time ago. you will not see anything like that here on this site. it really frustrates me to see something like that and not be able to do anything about it.
 
I really want to try this rom and I see everyone say get a class 6 or higher card. I don't have the cash flow at the moment or for the foreseeable future to get a new card.:( I was wondering if my 32gb class 4 would be ok since I don't use many apps. The one app I do use a lot is Handcent. I do play a couple games but not very often.

class 4 might work ok for you. it is just that by moving the apps to the card your apps will need the speed in order to perform well. now most everyday apps should be fine on lower speed cards but games and other more intensive apps will perform not as smoothly. try your card you have now and see. it is pretty easy to partition it and just as easy to undo it.

Sweet I'll do this tomorrow. So Handcent should work fine on the card then? I was thinking about selling my sd card to get a 16gb c10 card. I hardly use 5gb of 32gb! Any takers for a 32gb Class 4 sd card? Not sure of the make but I took it out of my HTC Thunderbolt before I traded it for my Evo.

Another quick question for this rom. Does it have the hacked hotspot or do I need to get the market app? I ask cause I use my Evo for internet service. Thanks!!
 
Well I'm proud to announce that I got this up and running, and it seems that the hotspot is hacked since I'm on my laptop typing this. Can anyone confirm this since I can't be completely sure my hotspot subscription has been deactivated? Sucks there is no 4g yet! So far this is a sweet looking Sense rom!

I don't believe that 4G will ever work on this rom, just fyi;)

Of course anything is possible but look how long it took for CM7 to get 4G? I think we have a better chance of a phone similar to ours with Sprint, get Sense 3.5 than this rom or any other port for that matter(excluding Sprint phones).

I wouldn't hold your breath but wifi is still a good alternative if it's available at your house. Most businesses have free wifi anyways;)
