Words with friends

Yeah this is my case. A lot of my friends/family have iOs. I prefer Wordfeud way better. Words with friends is pretty much broken on my phone. It messes up and says its my turn when its not. It has randomly lost a game or two as well. The chat keeps duplicating and showing I have new messages and sometimes my tiles disappear off the board and I have to recall them and put them back down again.
 
I were playing on Wordfeud for a whilee and dug it a lot. What made me switch to Wordsmith was the ability to play 4 player games.
 
I wish the devs of this had this game shoved up their ass. There is no excuse for releasing an app that is so screwed up.

2) As I have already said, I have never updated and WWF works almost perfectly for me. If you haven't updated it...............DON'T! The only problems I have are these: One game finished some 25 days ago is still at the top and no option to remove it. I get notifications of my moves. Those are the only problems I have with it. Otherwise it works perfectly.

That is a pretty huge thing. I noticed that it doesn't have as high of reviews as wordfeud. I was thinking of making a scrabble game with 4 players at one point just because I know that many people who would play! I'll have to give this a shot.
 
If anyone wants to play my user name is the same as on here. I won't be playing much for a couple weeks until I get my iPad for father's day because the free version on Android just sucks and rarely works when blocking ads.

And people wonder why android users don't buy as many apps...We have a game like words with friends that I'm fully willing to buy for $.99 when the ad free version comes out. BUTTTTT it SUCKS so much. Force closes left and right. Not nearly as polished as the iphone version, and it'll probably be $1.99 or $2.99 when it comes to android...

If developers want similar sales to the iphone, make a game that is similar in both performance and price.
 
I want to play this game b/c i love word games like scrabble but I refuse to mess up my phone to install it. So years later when they fix this app I will install it.
 
So, I'm thinking about getting this so play with some friends on iOS. But the reviews on the market are crap. I knew this game was crap when it was released, is it STILL after all this time, complete crap?

It isn't as bad as it used to be. The only part that is really bad now is the ads. there is no paid version and you can not block the ads or the app doesn't work at all. Occasionally it won't load the games properly, but a force close and the reopen it and it is usually fine.
 
Is Words With Friends an ok app to download? By "ok" I mean that I've heard A LOT of sketchy stuff about the company that makes the Words with Friends app, so I don't trust installing it on my phone.

It is fine to download, I use it all the time on my Nexus S and my iPad both

BTW if you want to play against me my username is the same as here

Not if you want to play against people with iPhones and you want to see full screen ads after every move and you want no notification when it is your turn.

Wordsmith is much better. Notifications are fast, too.

They're too busy trying to figure out how to make money with pervasive advertising to make a stable app. Too bad because this game was fun. :mad:
 
The only issue that I still have is that once in a while, when my friends make a play, it won't show up. It looks like I'm still waiting for them to make a move. But if I uninstall the app, then reinstall it, they all show up.
 
Thanks for the info, I had been wondering about that folder and those pictures. I am deleting WWF off my phone until they really fix their app like it is on my iPad
