Would you sell your X if Verizon gets the Nexus S?

This has probably crossed other's minds like it has mine, and I was curious what others thoughts on the subject were.

There are rumors that Verizon will see the S in a couple of months, and the thought of a truly open phone just makes me excited.

Thoughts????

I Personally think my Droid X has better specs, the only thing missing would be 2.3 OS but Im pretty sure that the DX will get it eventually, I played with the nexus s at my local Best Buy Store and I wasn't to impressed by it. So My answer would be No, :D but thats just me

Is the hardware that bad?????

I must say the X is built like a tank, but a completely open phone sounds wonderful right now... :p

I'm probably not going to upgrade until after July (My one year full credit upgrade date). Then, if I do, it will have to be a SIGNIFICANT upgrade. My next phone will NOT have a locked bootloader and probably will have sense UI. (Me loves sense ui)

Nexus S is not a significant upgrade. It's more sideways.

I suppose, even though it is supposed to be 4G compatible??

I see that being two MAJOR upgrades... unlocked and 4g?!!

I dunno, guess it is just me!

As far as I can tell, it seems like it's just a Galaxy S (Fascinate) with Gingerbread and stock Android...why not just get a Fascinate and root?? By the way, I had a Fascinate and returned it...got the X, and the X wins hands down.

Nope. Still lovin' the X as much as when I got it on the release date. Nothing on the market now or the immediate future will change that. Ask my again in six months. Maybe by then some lust worthy phones will be out there.

Love my x and will use it until it dies. Even after my upgrade. I'll wait until I find something like this phone again.

The DX is my first smartphone (came from Moto Krave, then LG Chocolate Touch). I don't think I'll trade it in for a good long while. With different ROMs, themes, apps, etc. etc...I just don't see myself losing interest in it. Also, it has great call quality (LG CT sucked at this). So, vastly customizable, great call quality, build quality, 4.3" screen to watch videos on...nope. I'm going to stick with the X.

No. I LOVE the idea of vanilla Andoid and not having a locked bootloader/kernel abd having to work around Blur, but the fact that it's a Samsung will absolutely keep me from even considering it. I've had quality issues with other Samsung products (one TV and one phone), and a friend of mine also had quality issues (another phone), and theri ongoing GPS issues with the galaxy S line and the fact that all the US Galaxy S phones are STILL on Eclair (2.1) is rediculous. The Fascinate came out AFTER the Droid X, yet the DX has gotten 2 OTA updates (Eclair to Froyo, then Froyo fixes) while all the Samsung people are still sitting around trying to figure out where they are and if they will get froyo before we get Gingerbread. Samsung support and quality just can't be trusted in my mind, and I will NOT buy another one of their products because of that. I just hope the next Nexus phone will be made by someone else, like Motorola or HTC again. Maybe even LG, I trust thier hardware more than Samsungs.

unlocked interests me, 4g does not. I don't like spending more money every month! :p

It's going to have to be a special phone. Dual Core processor and another step toward completely replacing the laptop.

This will probably be my last Motorola phone if they continue to lock them down like the X. Not really a fan of Samsung phones, so I may check out the HTC Thunderbolt when it comes out.

Gimme a 4.3 inch screen, unlocked bootloader
with front camera and gingerbread. Then i'll trade my X away
If possible, make it that HTC 1 concept phone
