Xoom WIFI ONLY - can preorder now!

Oh man, should I fork over 50$ in tax and get the Xoom now....or should I just wait until Tuesday and get the Xoom for 600$ :/
 
I got to have it.

Drove to staples in South Pasadena, CA. They are still setting up the booth display. I asked to buy one. The store manager said they just received email from corporate to start selling. Out the door $664 because of the CA recycle fee. The manager also told me, its very likely they will have a promotion on Sunday. But they have price protection within 14 days.

I'm typing this post at the staples parking lot. :-)
 
Sold the iPad that I had won a few months ago last week, and put the profit towards a Xoom from Costco. Can't wait for it to arrive next week! :D
 
They are setting up the display booth at Staples.

My costco has em! Gonna cancel Amazon and getting it today! Haha...What swayed my decision was costco's flexible return policy. Will post pics once I get it and play with it :D
 
My staples is selling them.... but it's $42 in tax and possible another 10 if amazon did drop the price.

At only 14 day return policy. Impatience is horrible.
 
First report! Flash works right out of the box. MicroSD card is still now working.

My MicroSD card was "jammed" with the dummy card that was inserted in the wrong direction. I have to use a tweezer to take it out. MAD!
 
So I go to costco and they get me the xoom wifi version, put it in my hand. I take it to the register and give them my credit card, 1 min later a guy comes up and says, sorry! We actually can't sell this until sunday, even though the guy i spoke to on the phone said I could get one. They took it right out of my hands. What a tease.
 
Bought mine from Staples. But I paid $664 out the door. I'm counting on the Mega Million lotto tonight :-)

Same crap happened to me. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Absolutely upset. They should have told me when I called them that they couldn't sell it until Sunday. Instead, I go down there and waste an hour of my time (driving, plus waiting for some dumb *** asking questions at the kiosk). UGH irritated right now...:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Yeah, guy on the phone is like sure, we have them in now come pick one up! Yeah ok bro.... Oh well, I swear if they don't have any on sunday i'll be really irritated considering it was in my hand.

Samething happened to me at BestBuy. The broad I talked to said they have 5 in stock and it's 1st come, 1st serve. I asked her if I come down would they sell to me, She said "Yes, just come down now". Takes me about 20 minutes to get there. I get there and talk with a gal in the Mobile Dept. and she said yeah they have 5 in stock and she will have to look for them. She asks the Mobile Supervisor where they were and he said they could not sell them until Sunday. I was PISSED OFF:mad::mad::mad: I told them what the girl said on the phone and all they could say is Sorry. I wasted my Gas and time to get one and was told Sorry. Bastards. I spoke with the Store Manager and he was worthless as well

5 is just crazy@ bestbuy, I would think costco should have a ton. or else why would they bother selling it
