It's a little different from what I see on my phone.
That's what I see

ZTE-T U960CMCCV1.O.OB06/U960V1.0.2B08
U960SPV1.0.2B08/U960V1.0.2B08

I don't know why you have a "2B07" where I've a "2B08"...

when i install 2B08 i also got this ZTE-T U960CMCCV1.O.OB06/U960V1.0.2B08
U960SPV1.0.2B08/U960V1.0.2B08.then i restore catty's latest rom.so i got this

ok. I will use the "official" rom for now.
the latest catty's rom was not stable on my phone. I will check for newer custom rom.

note: it seem to me that with this 2B08 rom the battery usage it's better than before. I was not happy with the battery and i'm also waiting for and extended battery I've ordered on obostore. I will monitor battery usage with this new rom before using the extended battery.

I'm having problems with video calls on Skype, it doesn't work for some reason.

Afaik, it should be enabled on Catty's 2b07 rom and kernel, is it?

Does any of you have problems with music playback? It seems to randomly use the dolby thingy. Is there a way to remove that programm alltogether? (In 2B07 this is).

Is there a list of improvements in 2B08 over 2B07?

I made the international version of the multi kernel flasher, and i assembled it together with six flavor of the 02b08 kernel.

DepositFiles

Just download and unpack the file, then launch the boot_change.bat script (keep one eye on the phone to authorize the process, if never done before).

then choose the kernel you want to use, (the file names should be self-explanatory), the kernels are built by LadyGeGe from Malshenzu forum, thanks to him for his work.

I did some color coding to have a quick feedback of the kernel in use

Keep in mind that the 1.4Ghz/397MB (purple) version is experimental, and likely not stable, you should use it for testing purpose only.

I'm not using the music player a lot of time but I didn't note any problem.
if you want you can remove the Dolby app using titanium backup.

I don't see any new feature on the 2B08 rom, but the signal on sim1 seems better then before...

Merimobiles has it for 299$ shipping included.

I never bought anithyng from them but looks like a reasonably trusted website

I had mentioned sometime ago that my bluetooth usage on SIM1 was always distorted and I could not hear the person on the other end and neither could I be heard. I have good news now. After factory resetting and using the OneClick Update to upgrade to 2B08, I do not have that problem again. Maybe those with similar situations may a clean upgrade to see. Now Mr. Solutor, I used your B13 in the past and liked its' performance in spite of the Bluetooth problems. Can you tell if I will not be risking my Bluetooth functiionality on SIM1 if I decided to try your multi kernel flasher? Does it touch your basebands?

I can't understand. I tried to apply Your updater. I looked Your archive. My phone doesn't accept this usb driver. When I bought the phone I had this problem. It was a reason to change rom.
As well "Join me" from ZTE isn't go with my phone. Only "Join me" from Etotalk (received with a phone, I copied it before to change a rom) go with my phone. I looked they are some different. I am no so professional to explain it better.

May be I do something wrong but I may extract an archive and replace files as well as to open a programm.

Hello foseikuffuor, i had also some problems in the psat with blootooth in my car(sometimes bad quality - but not always) and i want to upgrade from B06 to B08 like you did.

The kernels are identical to the stock one aside the mentioned differences, the stock kernel is included to get back quicly, if something goes wrong.

Nothing else is touched by the flasher.

To get the update working you need to have the usb developement enabled, the driver (either from join me or from the latest official updater) properly installed and the rooted phone.

In short if adb works, the flasher works too.

About join me I can't help too much, I've never used it, btw the latest updater (see my signature) will update the fat partition too

Not shure about what you mean.

You can easily access the files inside the ext2/3/4 images mounting them in linux, via the loopback device, then is all about you understand what to add/edit/delete on the mounted image.

I had to install virtual winxp on win7 64bit and successfully implement the command "adb fastboot"
for example:

Me too, tried one click update on a virtual machine, some time didn't work at all. Sometimes fails after starting. In the end I had to use qpst and a real xp machine to get it right.
