Sorry, that would be me. Misinterpreted what the poster said when he said this:

"3. 4G built-in memory, that is also the reason we did not attach MircoSD card... give you fast responding"

My bad, peeps! thought he meant no SD slot.

does it really matter if the phone came with an SD? if you already have good ones why use the crappy one they come with :) IMO there really not needed (unless you dont wanna dish out a buck for an SD worth it)

Damn apollo, you just messed up what i was trying to start..

Mine 3
Mine 4 ......

I dont want a sequent. But the real problem is that its the same internal memory and the same people that sold us faulty phones with faulty software and abondoned our support. Are now selling a new rip off. I think thats how i see it. Are they really that cheap to not include a sd card? Feel me? I know a few people that still use there 2 gig sd.

Sorry, Guys, Travel and tied up this week. Just have a chance to visit the message. Thank so much for your attention. The only reason we come here is to have your feedbacks from you, and try to improve our product next time.

We can here to help , meanwhile, I encouraged my product managers, who are responsible for product planning & Marketing, also actively involve the discussion.

The feedback we need , is not only from carrier, like Boostmobile, and sprint, but also ,truely from you guys. You are the real customer to have the device day and night.

Again, I am really appreciate for your comments and feedback.

P.S I saw some of them confusion about SD / SD card... Just a quick claification, Warp Sequent does support SD card up to 32 G... But we thought, obviously not very smart , customer should be more happy about larger built-in Memory,in stead of external memory card..... I am working on this issue now, to see if we can still come up with SD Card on the next shipment....

Looks like their may be more than one!!!
Haha, yes. Right after TA, ( ask you guys imagine, 10 month...^%%$$), I ask my product manage to come visiting here more often... I got some really feedback already , like
1. WIFI issues,
2. Speaker issues
3. SD card issues,
4. o, " Joey" issues as well...

Feel good here.

Lol I think im starting to like this guy. Waiting to see how deep his involvement in the forums will get though. Sense of humor is always a plus

Ya know, it would be nice if more phone company research & Dev employees took the time to come in here and read up on what's going wrong with the devices they are manufacturing and then take steps to correct these issues.

Who knows people, this guy may actually be able to help you guys and gals out. He has at least taken the time to come in here and let you know that he has been paying attention to your posts. Can't say as I've seen that in any of the other sections that I frequent.

As for the new Sequent, it'll be interesting to see if you guys at ZTE have upped your game any and have made some much needed improvements. I came very close to purchasing the Warp but it just had 2 many issues so I bought the LG Marquee instead.

I know this is a little off-topic but I replaced my speaker on my phone. My earpiece is now starting to distort, but I can still manage with it.

Joey, welcome to the forum!

I think we can give ZTE credit for releasing hardware that had a lot of potential for an mid to low level android phone. My first phone was the samsung prevail and I was amazed when this phone came out with it's big GLASS screen and nice display, I bought it the first month it came out because of the specs.

The software did/does leave a lot to be desired, the biggest issue I have with the software is that the first warp has still not had an update to ICS. If you want to keep customers long term you need to make them feel like their product will be supported with the latest software, we like android because it's cutting edge and customizable. Once we are three releases behind software wise it gets to feel like ZTE doesn't care about people who are early adopters of their products? It's been proven that this phone could run ICS, we have the specs to run it and we know zte has the software and know how to get us ICS on the original warp. If you won't, we will with your help or not, it will just be a lot more frustrating and take a lot longer if we are left on our own to figure it out.

I thought the b08c update did make the phone more stable. Downthemachine/hroark/shinru and others took it many steps further by getting the kernel sorted out to enable swap, init.d support overclock etc.

Please tell whoever will listen that the early adopters and people who purchased the original warp don't appreciate being left with gingerbread when there are jelly beans being handed out to everyone else, it makes us feel abandoned. I would purchase another zte product if we got an update to ICS on the original warp, that would show us that ZTE wants to keep the customers who were experimented on with the first warp.
