Root ZTE Zmax Pro Official Root Discussion

But on a serious note I really don't mind using my Zmax Pro in the name of research I just ask to give me some time to find a charger for my laptop and I'm all yours. Like I said I have my LG K7 as a back up and I don't plan on bricking my Zmax Pro. Root for this phone is long over due and root will only add to the awesomeness of the Zmax Pro
Is there a stock rom to somehow flash?

Btw do you understand what the output in your image says :p it's not a prove of anything :p

Dear loonycgb2,
For the past couple of months I've been watching the Android forums for signs of any progress towards root. That's when I noticed a pattern that correlates to you. You say that you achieved this and that, figured out this and said that. Everyone of those posts that you have made included ZERO proof or evidence supporting your posts. Unless you show a screenshot of your so called "homemade rom" and "permanent root", don't expect anyone to believe or trust you. This post was just me pondering and writing my thought down. I don't care if you agree with me or not. Just read this post and reflect. I don't see why you are still here anyways. Didn't you already move on?
Love, Me

Too difficult for you to post a screenshot or any proof? Why such an unhelpful, sad attitude?

Why not help everyone if you've achieved root?

Funny how people jump to conclusions, i just recently spoke to messi about it and he knows my reasons, hes the only one im willing to show proof to when i have a chance because i dont plan on releasing anything public.

As far as helping? Bruh start from page 20 or before when i came in.. i have been helping yalls only dev since the day i didnt even own the phone.

Im the only one who has managed to modify a system file and throw the phone into 9008 qualcomm aka sahara mode from premature brick.

I posted screenshots of it all, yeah thats not full proof of root, but i also since month or 2 ago sent a pm to the necessary people with how to root the phone.

Its not my fault they havent attempted to make it work, i chose not to help for many reasons.

Sapphire has only came up with "blueborne" and if he got it to work then great! But i honestly let him know i dont code bluetooth stuff and dont know where to start which is why i let him be with that part.

Everything else.. messi and the original people started off with dirtyc0w, but when i came in i brought in a different version that was capable of working.

Which is what sapphire is now using to try rooting the phone from recent screenshots.

I love how everyone jumps on the bandwagon but dont take the time to research before speaking.
I dont care if anyone gets offended by this..

Sh1t jcase did the same exact thing with the original zmax but had a heart and chose to release his exploit on his terms.. if he had not changed his mind the zmax would not have been rooted. All because he found a missing step to what me and others were missing.

Like i said good luck to everyone, as far as proof and such ill send it to messi as i told him but im not here to prove anything to any of you because then ill be bombarded with can i have root messages... Sapphire is your man not me

Can we get back on topic and stop attacking each other, please? If he no longer wants to help then it's his choice. I for one don't care. I'd just like to see this stupid phone conquered. Blueborn has opened the door to many previously abandoned phones to being rooted. If somebody can root it than I for one am happy to try it out. All this infighting is fracturing the community. I say this as a person who's been lurking this forum since I had a Moto g 1st Gen. The arguing helps nothing and solves nothing.

Now, is there anything I can do to help from b08 phones or have you already gotten everything y'all need from it?

lol.
when i asked for updates from the discord chats i was talking about root and not about internal fights between the devs.
the past 3 pages is nothing but in-fighting and sarcastic emoji's. :p
think ill just check back in a month or two.

based on the z970 and z981 threads, I'm assuming that every android root thread is exactly like this.

No there not onifmp. /root used to work without bug, glitches, or drama.

I thinl the OEM's have granted more autonomy to users maling /root obsolete.

Did I get the look of the word "root" right?

Hello all.
Mods please remove if question is redundant.
Would access to sdlog, tlogtool or Assistant help in any way?

Still on 08 and still can't update.

What kind of person goes into a forum where people have been waiting for root for a year, and proceeds to announce he has achieved root but isn't going to share the info. ???

Amazing.
