Hi guys
I used srs root on my family mobile zmax pro z981. It run through the program says root successful installs su, phone reboots. After reboot I don't have root/su. Now I think srs did something I don't know what. Does anyone know should I factory reset? Does srs really work and it's something I did? Ftm mode= Hold vol+ and power button to boot into FTM. What is FTM?
Did you even read the OP it explains what FTM mode is as well as any generic one click root method for this phone will NOT work and that's exactly what srs root actually srs root is clickbait it didint even attempt to root the phone more than likley your phone is fine don't worry about it
OK I read every page. And yah I should have done that to begin with. This phone reminds me of my old Moto G 2nd gen LTE carrier USCellular. Special flash Qualcomm flash tool for that phone kept saying adb No device detected. But it flashed anyway
This thread is a mess. Again.
Thread closed pending mod attention.
Dude did you not just read what the mod said above you go to the off topic root discussionMoto g4+ has same Qualcomm MSM8952 soc. Anyway to use tools for that phone for zmax? Is this dumb question? I just really want root
He's asking a question pertaining to root. It's not off topic. He's asking a question. The answer is no you can't.Dude did you not just read what the mod said above you go to the off topic root discussion

Also, I already mentioned that CVE-2016-2503 could be exploited to gain root access on our device but people ignored my post and shit up the thread with KingRoot this and KingRoot that. If anybody wants root, they will look into the CVE vulnerablities of this device instead of hoping KingRoot will magically root for us.
Better yet, we could tip off KingRoot to the CVE and they could do the dirty work for us.
The difference here is comments that do not outline a failed attempt, asking for information needed for investigating a root exploit, suggesting ideas/updates to the status of the device. Complaint about the thread has zero to do with it and the entire point of mods is to manage the forum. What else do you expect mods todo? Even this comment is off topic and as such I have no issues with it being removed. The deleting of every comment that isn't explicitly outlining a way to root is also pointless censorship and I'm sure mods have more pressing things to remove on this entire forum than an indirectly related comment somebody is snitching to them about.
