Keep up the hard work ,Messi your a wiz I've heard . From what I've read on the interwebz this phone is going to be a hard one to root , if you pull this off then I know this phone will be one of the best devices out especially for the low price. I'll donate what I can on payday this Monday. Thanks again for your dedication for helping others out , we need more people like you!

Everyone check out the release thread of TWRP... We now have access to DFU mode!
***UPDATE***
***BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING***
***ENABLE OEM UNLOCKING***
***ANY ATTEMPT TO FLASH WITH OEM UNLOCKING DISABLED WILL FAIL***
I found the qualcomm flashing tool.
https://androidmtk.com/flash-stock-rom-using-dfu - ONLY FOR FULL FIRMWARE FLASHING

This tool can flash recovery only, which is what we need.
http://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/366030-dfu-tool-for-bricked-zte-blade-3-not-working-on-windows-8/ (Thanks Lambo!)

To enter DFU mode power off your Zmax Pro and unplug it.
Power on the device while holding VOL UP and VOL DOWN at the same time until the screen is black with the home button glowing.

Install these drivers to allow your PC to connect to your phone in DFU mode.

After you are in DFU mode plug your phone into your PC and it should show up in device manager as the picture below.

Attempt to flash Messi2050's TWRP image at your own risk. It hasn't been tested yet, and we wont know if it works until someone takes that leap of faith.

Thanks Messi2050!

Good luck to those who dare flashing the recovery.

Well... has it ever been reported of hard bricks from a damaged recovery partition in the event it doesn't work?

It's possible, but hard bricks only happen when the recovery/ROM you're trying to flash is really ****ed up/for the wrong device. I'd say you can only trust this recovery as much as the guy who ported it.
Watch out guys and gals . If the twrp recovery isnt %100 then your putting your phone at RISK! If the flash tool works then you need a backup of the stock recovery and firmware. No way to back up the stock recovery once you flash the twrp recovery.Good luck brave soldiers I'll sit this one out.

The problem is that I'm sure that many will flash it to the system or boot partitions and that will brick the phone so it should be flashed by experienced users only and I'm not responsible for any bricked devices

I think messi2050 is the only one here with enough knowledge to flash it. Any one who will try to flash it would probably brick the device. So before bricking your phone is a better idea to send it to messi, if you brick it you are wonna lose it any ways. I already donated. $5 or $10 wont make anybody here risher or poorer.
I actually do have the required knowledge to use such tools as i used to have a mediatek device and I've saved that device from not even having a bootloader to fully functional

Me too but adb shell dont give enough permission and recovery directory seem to never wanna stick when I type in the command .

Just to make something clear, flashing a recovery should never brick a phone (even if the recovery is corrupt) unless u flashed it to the wrong partition ex:system/boot partitions
In case u flashed a recovery that's not compaitable with your phone you won't have access to the recovery but the system should still work normally.

So if I flash it and it fails - the phone should still boot normally? I don't need any type of recovery right now lol.

have all the files downloaded. How do i get into fastboot mode/bootloader mode. I tried sideloading with adb in the recovery screen and it failed. Device boots fine.

I have SuperSU downloaded. If TWRP flashes fine than all you need to do is flash root. Looked at a guide online to boot into fastboot but it doesn't work for the Pro.

when i do adb reboot-bootloader it just takes me back to boot screen; when i do vol+ and power I just get the android briefly than the reboot to system etc options.

fyi, we have no fastboot, the only possibility to flash recovery that we have is the Qualcomm flash tool, and as far as I know it hasn't been tried yet. Good luck if you give it a shot, I'm 50/50 on going for it myself, still have a semi working lg k7 to back up to if I brick
