I'm not understanding everything. I'm saying use Windows to run dirty cow and have zmax pro hooked USB adb etc

I have successfully executed dirtycow through adb on Windows and Linux. The ADB shell is the same either way. My thought was to replace the SELinux policy, but I can't presently make a custom sepolicy binary, nor do I understand the method required to make Linux reload it without rebooting, and on reboot, the custom binary would be replaced with the stock one, as far as I know. Perhaps the sepolicy tools here may be helpful. http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/setools-android-sepolicy-inject-t2977563
I'll be the first to admit that I really don't know anything about how SElinux works.

THat's why we have had the troubles, basic linux security SElinux. This is why you see these things mentioned but nothing happens. It's not like we're hiding a root, but covering the same ground over and over doesn't help either. If you want to try things, READ THIS ENTIRE THREAD, see what you understand and how you can help. All help would be appreciated, reinventing the wheel is not, however, helpful

KingRoot and kingoroot still fail. Perhaps it isn't as simple as an adb commands to disable emmc write protection for us ZMAX pro users. However, if testing is needed for helping purposes, I have insurance on my handset, so I'm willing to go full force into whatever... (powduh09@gmail.com) hangouts, or whatever is necessary...

Ditto!

Mine says rooted too however I've also messed around alot trying to root my phone however have never had success srs root from Twitter however claims to successfully root my phone but I've yet to see it work however maybe it's what caused the false positive?

Hey if u got a false positive lol on that app what does root checker say? And does srs work on the old zmax? Maybe it's on to something that we can use just a thought

I remember with the LG L70 we had to zero out download mode or recovery to access fastboot to unlock the bootloader.. would that be a possibility once we achieve root or even temp root
