Root ZV6 V.5 Stock Mod - Debloated - No Gapps

Updating from zv3 all the way up to zv6 without any of the previous updates might be an issue. I suggest doing a complete wipe and at least an install of zv5 radio and rom then step up to zv6. I do not suggest a flash over without wiping.
I did a factory reset under the zv6 ROM after experiencing the power off reboot problem, didn't solve it. Guess will try reinstall zv5 then zv6 .

Btw I misspoke earlier on , mine came with zv4, so I jumped from zv4 to zv6 if that matters .

Thanks for the suggestions.

How did you theme the qslide apps in the notification menu? Is there a zip we can flash in recovery we can use? Ive been using G3 Tweakbox but its kind of limited in what I can change, and themes wont work on it. I still have the grey boxes on mine. (I haven't flashed this rom, just using stock right now)

Try g2 tweaksbox

I tried that one as well, but am having trouble with it also changing the tiles. Theres an option to allow the G3 flat UI or something along those lines, but theres a large gap like its stretched out

Yeah you can also just keep the stock icons and change the stock colors and transparencies to get a good look. In g2 tweaksbox you can edit notifications panel by changing stock color to one you like with a transparency you like then check mark apply to all others. And in quick settings panel just check mark the top option

UPDATE

Well the UNO kernel works great with the deodexed Xperia rom.
@HasH_BrowN , did the uno kernel work for you on this ROM?

I have it set at 1.2ghz, intelliactive, zen, msm_adreno and 450mhz, 1024 read ahead on both int and ext. Its running really SMOOTH.

Viper4Android does not work with the deodexed Xperia rom. I've tried all manners of installation, moving to system doesnt work either.

What about the buttons? Those aren't stock. o_O

If you download G2 Tweakbox theres an option to enable the LG G3 UI which will change the buttons to the screens youre seeing

I ended up just removing the qslide menu alltogether since I think I deleted some framework files earlier and it wont let me edit the order anymore. Theres an option in the G2 or G3 Tweaksbox that allows you to use AOSP notification menu tiles by swiping to the side or hitting the menu button which Im liking for now. I miss having a brightness slider in the pulldown menu, but theres also an option to allow brightness sliding across the status bar

OK, I've about got it... Although, I don't want the Quick Settings background transparent... What do I need to switch to fix that? Also, the button color? Wish there was one module that did everything... Using a combination of G2, G3, and GravityBox. Here's some shots... :)

Just open notifications section of the mod, edit the background color to solid black, transparency about 50%. Tick the checkmark for it to color all the panels. Now the blurred effect you should turn off and youll get what i have or you can go with the g3 style with labels turned off also

Working on a version three of both rom sets. Heres a screen or two of two additions. Splitview and extra system fonts to select from. These screens are from xperia so no screens of the change up for stock mod which had walkman but now has apollo with dsp manager which can be replaced with other sound engines like viper. I am also doing other things so these wont be up just yet.

Would it be easier to just make an update rather than a full ROM? I've altered quite a bit from your original ROM (nothing wrong with what you made, just personal preferences) and don't want to go through all that again. :p

If I made an update strictly for the font mod and the splitview sure i can do that for those. But I am also attempting to modify and get working a number of g2 apps for us. Having some success with that. Finishing a test build now or rather getting ready to...to see what was succesful and what wasnt.

Ok thought I had the g2 launcher working. And I did. But it was operating using the cached settings of our launcher. So in theory you can run it after booting up with our launcher, configuring it the way you want then overwrite its apk with the g2 launcher then reboot. Not very practical. But all is not lost by a long shot. I got full multitasking for splitview and Slide Aside. Multitasking is now selectable in settings. Also got the original fmradio functioning although not tested yet. Functioning means its opening for me without crashing. Plus what might be a very useful video movie maker. Much more stuff to try and get functioning. Heres some screens.

Yeah buddy!!!

on the fmradio looks like a different chipset library on the international g2 versus ours. not unexpected but not sure i can do much with it. will keep trying. although it did give me a lead on maybe finding our original fmradio app. calculator works in qslide and full. full looks great. qslide has issues with a transparent background in the keyboard. the only reason i can find that a lot of the other stuff crashes is due to dpi between the devices. would need a decompile and rewrite to get it all in hdpi. there is an odd app in the rom dump called cell broadcast where you can listen in on certain channels but i have no clue how to use it. the app name set is LGcb.apk. Initially thought it was some sort of shortwave cb radio listener but cant confirm it.

going to post the g2 qremote files tomorrow for others to look at. i can get it all working except it wont show me the list of each device. each device type is selectable but after selecting lets say tv,the next panel shows no tv models at all. not sure what im missing. but this qremote has every kind of device you can think of even air conditioners.
