How important are Android and App Security Updates?

Here's a tweaked version of the above, using GPT-3:

what are the odds of my android 11 phone getting hacked

The odds of your Android 11 phone being hacked are very low. Android 11 is the most secure version of the Android operating system to date, and Google has taken steps to make sure that it is as secure as possible. However, no operating system is completely secure and there is always a risk of your phone being hacked. To reduce this risk, you should ensure that your device is running the latest version of Android and that you have installed the latest security updates. Additionally, you should only download apps from reputable developers and sources, avoid connecting to public Wi-Fi networks, and use a secure password for your device.

Help Does the Samsung A53 have wireless (induction) charging?

I would not recommend the aftermarket approach. I tried something similar with my S5, which actually had wireless charging as an option which was added by changing the back cover. Instead of installing the OEM Samsung charging cover (not even sure if it was still available at that time, but in any event it would make the phone too thick to use a case), I added an aftermarket charging coil which fit inside the existing cover and connected to the same terminals used by the Samsung cover. It worked, but ran hot and over time trashed a couple of batteries so I gave up on it. I suspect an add-on like this on a current phone might have similar results, and it would be worse since the batteries are not user-replaceable any more.
If you really want a phone with wireless charging, buy on that has it built in.

Anything useful in Android 13? (short rant)

Nonetheless it is still matter where this adds confusion
What adds confusion?
(and sadly it appears to be intentionally)
Are you accusing me of being intentionally confusing?

Edit: If you're saying that Amazon's being intentionally confusing, then I agree when it comes to version numbers. It really would have been better if Fire OS version numbers matched Android version numbers (e.g. if FireOS 7 were Android 7, FireOS 12 were Android 12, etc.)!

But I think Amazon's doing the right thing by not marketing the Kindle Fire as running Android. When you say "Android": People (outside of China) will expect the Google app store and other Google apps to come pre-installed. While you can install those yourself, it's better for Amazon to just not use the "Android" label.

If you're accusing me of being intentionally confusing: I hardly think that's fair! If you ask me what OS I run on my MacBook: Should I say "the OpenSUSE Distibution of GNU/Linux, running the KDE desktop environment"? Or should I say "Linux"? The same principle applies to Android.

Pinterest downloads to my gallery

Gallery isn't a location, so you can't save things to it. It's just an app for viewing images on your device, just as File Manager is an app for, well, managing files on your device.

The Gallery app should usually find media wherever you download them to on the device, so you can just choose where you want to store them using the file manager. If it has trouble finding images you have downloaded try stopping and restarting it, or go into its settings and see whether there is any option to force it to rescan or to look in particular directories (aka "folders" if you prefer that term). Different phones have different Gallery apps, so I don't know what options your Gallery app has because they are probably different from mine. Or you can choose to store them in a directory where you already have images the Gallery can see (if you have one called "Pictures" then try that).

It is possible to stop Gallery apps looking in a particular directory by putting a file called ".nomedia" in them, but that's not something you would do accidentally. If you have downloaded images but the Gallery simply cannot find them you could try moving or copying them to a different location and see whether that fixes it

Music starts playing at times, same music everytime

I am also at lost with this, since I turned down the volume pretty much most of the time on my tablet... hmmm, so can you adjust the sound setting?
I found what I feel is the reason, I went into the clock app and shut off all alarms and the music stopped. I'm now going back in there and start to turn them on one at a time until I find the culprit. I also shut off notifications from the Gmail app which I don't use anyhow as it showed up some of the times the music played

Help Speedtest for an SSD?

When you're going to be recording 4K video, use your phone's internal storage. The USB interface as is will really limit your bandwidth speed, adding in an adapter device will only increase the loss.
If enough free space on your phone's internal storage is going to be a problem, use a microSD card instead. Just be sure it's a newer card that is the appropriate speed class. 4K recording will require some decent write speed to save to the storage media effectively. It's not so much how fast your SSD is, the limitation is in how it's connected to your phone:

Google Voice?

I use my Google Voice number for any situations where I don't want to use use my primary phone number -- i.e. ordering take-out, buying stuff online, etc. It's reliable and stable, and easy to manage through either the app or using a web browser on a computer or laptop.

But it is a Google product so at any time, even though it has a long established history, I won't be surprised if Google opts to kill it off or monetize it in some kind of annoying way. It does give me a very useful, secondary phone number but I'd be nervous about making it my main phone number.

Email Client for Android TV?

An Android TV isn't typically intended to be used as a makeshift device for 'office' tasks like emailing and such so it's not surprising there's no email apps available in your TV's Play Store app.
Does your TV model already have its own integral keyboard app? You'll need to install one if possible to do something as interactive as email exchanges. Otherwise, if there's already an existing web browser app you can just use that to access whichever email service you prefer, all the major email services -- Gmail, MS Outlook, Yahoo Mail, Proton, AOL, Juno, etc. -- have web interface sites.
