notification center? is this from the pulldown at the top of the phone? or from your phone's settings? never seen notifications appear at the bottom. why not just ask the person who the phone belongs to?

the shield is probably some kind of anti-virus app or an ad block app. there are a couple of youtube notifications and the last one is the play store.

I wish to add my own banner ads to my Android mobile app. Not AdMob ads. I've searched high and low for a tutorial on how to do this but I cannot find one. I'd be grateful if anyone knows of such a tutorial as I have spent a lot of time trying to figure it out but without success.

Just got a new Samsung S23+ and ordered a tempered glass screen protector from amFilm -- the amFilm [2+2 Pack OneTouch Tempered Glass Screen - thru Amazon. It arrived quickly and was easy to install with the One Touch Application Tray. Quick and easy - no bubbles. I did have to rescan my fingerprint but it works fine after doing that.

My phone was not purchased from my provider although they did sell the S20+ model.
I am putting it down to it maybe what they call a parallel import as there are issues with wifi calling that my provider cannot solve.
Looks like I will have to live with what I have.
Still does 99 percent of what I need.

@OM2 You may want to try FydeOS on your Chromebook, and see if that works. FydeOS is like Chrome OS Flex, except it has the Google Play Store. Point is, if it works: You can get a mondern ChromeOS/Android on your old Chromebook.

Same goes for bookmarking. In Vivaldi I can bookmark all open tabs or only the ones I've selected in one go. Seems to be possible in Opera too, but not Chrome.

I was screaming at the TV telling them to go to the basket, if you see the 3 point shots aren't working , then you take it to the hoop..... the only Aztec that was going to the basket just happened to be probably the smallest on the team ( Trammell )

What I meant was once you register the web address all the companies that sell a web address know what was registered so there aren't any duplicates. I would think search engines look for all the new registered web addresses. That's what I would think is happening.

It use to be you had to register your web address with the search engines. I don't think you have to do that anymore.
