I don't use Windows myself, and I don't know Samsung Music. But you can check and easily edit MP3 metadata on your Android device with Classical Music Tagger. https://f-droid.org/en/packages/de.kromke.andreas.musictagger/ I've often used this app.
It says "Classical Music", but it can view and edit all MP3 metadata for any music genre.

During my research I see there are other phones models that are able to change settings to disable drop down panel during lock screen.
I guess just have to search for an app to do it. Any idea what keywords to search playstore for this problem?

Just download them from your google drive to your PC or Mac. And then plug your phone in and transfer them back over. And like others have said I'd keep copies local and back them up separately as well as on Google drive. Depending on how much you value these photos. It'd be worth the effort to make sure they're safe in few places. Cloud, Local, and on device.

Did you have a lock screen set up?
If you did, that should be a good deterrent to keep most people from even being able to access your files or use any apps. A more tech savvy thief 'might' be able to defeat the lock screen but it's still something that takes time to actually do. But for most people, the lock screen prevents them from getting to your files, making phone calls, using apps, etc.
If you didn't, than that's more of a problem, as anyone can just pick up the phone and use it. How much time occurred in between the time your phone was stolen and when you eventually used Erase device? If it was a significant amount of time you really do need to sit down and reset all the passwords for your various online accounts.
Also, report the phone as stolen to your carrier and have them freeze your cellular account on that phone. This also puts the phone on a national blacklist that all the carriers follow so the thief can only use their own WiFi for online connectivity. (But again, hopefully you had a lock screen enabled so they can even access anything.) If you leave Location enabled on your phone, you can use that Find My Device service to get a pretty good approximation of just where that phone might be.

I disable both. Keep in mind, sometimes Play Store respawns itself (goes from disabled to enabled all on its own) and starts the process over again.

I also couple disabling both Play Store and Download Manager by also side-loading an app called Netguard No-Root Firewall. That app can be found on APKPURE, and after you enable 'unknown sources' in security settings, you should be able to download that file on any browser (preferably one with its own download manager like Samsung Internet which works on any phone, or Firefox) and then use your file explorer app to select the file, and tap it. You should get an install prompt, and then tap done when you see 'app installed'

Then open NetGuard, and go to settings, advanced, and enable 'system apps' then go back and find Play Store, Download Manager and make sure both the wifi and data symbol has a slash through them. Also, since this is a phone app we're talking about here, you can also disable the wifi/data for Phone by Google as well, and then it should not only never update again, but just work as a regular old phone dialer.

The Search Bar widget is tied to the Google app while the Chrome app is the web browser. So do you have any kind of time limit set up for the Google app?
Using the Search Bar is only incidentally tied to the Chrome app as that's most likely the default for when she taps on a web site link.

have you tried wiping cache for the calendar? you can wipe data as well. but then you just need to make sure that your events or alarms have been backed up to google or whatever account you want the calendar to be in....cuz wiping data will erase all data from your calendar.

I occasionally get spam from 2 different members accounts from 2 different message boards . I am sure their phone/computer contact list was compromised and it has been years, yet every once in a while the spammers will use that list to send out their blah blah !

The order I was concerned about is on the watch itself. And I found the dropdown in the wearable app - recent first or custom. I changed it to Custom and now the newest are at the end! Many thanks!! I don't remember making this change previously but obviously I did.

You must mean 'weird' app, correct?

Anyway, it could be some system app or even some mal-ware thing that was downloaded.

Some apps can download and install other crap that does not go away when the original app is uninstalled.

If you cannot uninstall it from the app info page, it is most likely a system app.

Really interesting

Just turn on always on display and it will show battery info while charging.
Alternatively you can tap on it once and it will show charging info without lockscreen

I'm trying to change notification sound to all apps but the only way I found is to go to change every sound in every app individually.

There is a sound preview and I can hear the sound I want it to be but when I get a notification I get the standard "Crystal" sound instead of the one I wanted it to be. When I check the apps it says "Default notification sound" but it's not the one I set

I'm thinking his latest update may need to be fixed for this issue.

My non rooted phone is android version 6.0.1, whatsapp version 2.20.123, Samsung phone, and I saved this WhatsApp/Databases folder msgstore-2020-01-25.1.db.crypt12 to my PC a long time ago.

1. Today if I change a new non rooted phone Samsung Galaxy A12 and install whatsapp latest version, can I restore msgstore-2020-01-25.1.db.crypt12 to my new phone?

2. Today if I change a new non rooted phone Samsung Galaxy A12 and install whatsapp latest version, can I restore Google drive whatsapp backup done on 22 Jan 2020 to my new phone?

I'm wondering if anyone else has found the same problem. It, sort of, relates to my previous post.
I'm talking about the settings under Wallpaper & Style. There is a choice to use Wallpaper Colors or Basic Colors. I use Wallpaper Colors and use the 11th scheme.

Unfortunately, every time I restart my phone, the color scheme reverts back to the third scheme.

You can see the difference.
I don't know why or how to keep it from happening. It's annoying because I restart my phone ever morning.

Coming from the original z flip then to z flip 3 and now on to z flip4.

So far so good, screen resolution is much better than the f3 is. Screen crease seems to be less pronounced than the previous flips. Over all performance is much better than expected compared to the f3 as well.

Just picked it up yesterday so not much else to add. They gave me over $900 for my flip3 so the 4 only cost me $93.00 and they gave me a $100 gift card for accessories, winner winner steak dinner.

Oh, even though the f3 and f4 have the same shape and size do not use the same Samsung cases. I did and it threw me into a safe mode loop. Drove me up a wall trying to figure out what was causing it. Must be volume button placement is different. Soon as i took the top cover off the loop stopped.

EDIT: 1 Month later I'm finding a lot of little differences with the software, practically everything related to Samsung has an update with new features or different features that basically do the same things as before but look a little different.

The little bit of extra battery they give over the flip3 is negligible to the point of not worthy of even mentioning.

Camera app has some different/new features, can't really explain them as I haven't had enough time to really mess around with them but nothing that jumps out as **LOOK AT ME** kind of different lol. Photo editor changes/improvements.

Over all subtle differences with most everything. Had they not given me the deal they did to change over it wouldn't have been worth while imho.

As someone mentioned above, evolutionary not revolutionary. I'm satisfied with it.

I don't know what possessed me to check for an update, other than I disconnected and reset my watch.... but I saw another August security patch DVG7 available! I figured it must be important, so I installed it.. Check for updates!
