Every day, I wonder how my 6 Pro will disappoint me today. I'm done with the Google line of phones. Sad as I've owned every Pixel since the first one. No excuses from Google, it's their SOC and software. I'm tired of switching Airplane mode on and off to get a cell or WiFi connection. It's a daily occurrence.

Hmmm... like if you would go a simple short cut like, head over to the launcher, press on the gallery and it will open a png, not so sure myself.

It's possible that the... whoever... who took your card information has no intention of charging your card. They likely don't know how much they could get out of you. What they probably do know, however, is how much your card information (CVV code and all) is worth on the black market. My guess is that's exactly where your card information went: to every crook willing to pay for it.

I strongly advise you call your bank, explain what you did, cancel the card immediately and learn your lesson.

I just downloaded the July update. It's only 19.77 mb so it installs quickly but still takes time to optimize your phone. I use Verizon and live in the suburbs of New York City.

well.....they are. its just like with anything now days. the more room you want, the more expensive it will be. my z fold 3 which costs me $1700 has 256 gigs of internal storage with 12 gigs of ram. i never have to worry about space on my phone. it is only half full.....lol

The app will call RCS "Chat" - RCS is the technical name of the protocol. I think you have to explicitly enable it - at least it's been off by default on any phone I've set up or installed the app on.

Who is your carrier?
Your phone's e-SIM is a direct correlation with your cellular service account. Have you contacted your carrier about your problem?
Are you also having problems with services like phone calls or using mobile data, or is this just a text messaging problem?

Based on this project, is there a way to pass data between fragment using viewmodel and .observe()?
Exemple one fragment contains a buton which increment a value in viewmodel and the observer of the 2nd and 3rd fragment update their textview with this value?
I am stuck on the fact that the .observe do not react to the value change....

Sounds to me like you have your contacts syncing to multiple locations, i.e. Google, Outlook, local only.
If this is the case, you will need to delete the number from each contact provider. You can do that directly from the Samsung Contacts app by tapping the hamburger menu in the upper left and then selecting the dropdown at the top and changing the active account.

Hello all again, many thanks to all helping me with this problem. I looked at trying to move all my messages from husband's phone through smart switch, but worried I might do something to his phone, and the process was not clear, nor easy to my mind. So I still haven't worked out why I can see 2500 messages listed in Cloud backup, but can't access them. What is everyone's opinion re making this issue public - ie via facebook or something? I cannot understand why they say they will get help back to you but nothing happens and you end up on the live chat, or phone yet again with no result. Still need to look perhaps also at Messenger+ for saving messages better for the future.

I know this is an old thread, but you might consider just a smaller phone with an overly rugged case.

Uninstall Ccleaner. It's owned by Cheetah Mobile, known for quite shady practices. Also known for useless 'battery savers' on Android.

Doesn't work. Pinching just shows the wallpaper. Settings has no options to help despite the snide asshattery from another poster.

At some point if you're putting so much time and effort fighting with your phone to free up more storage space, for your own peace of mind it's time to buy a new replacement phone with more storage to begin with. This is not meant to be dismissive at all, but instead of getting frustrated every time you pick up your phone and something happens where you need to open up a few MBs of storage space here and there, invest in yourself and make your quality of life better by getting a phone that just works as is.

Full disclosure. I'm a Jewish believer in Jesus Christ. I'm an Evangelical Non-Denominational ordained minster of the Gospel.

That said, the term "Xmas" wasn't started by the secularists. It was originated by devout Christians. The X doesn't stand for blotting out the name of Christ. What the X stands for is the Cross that He was crucified upon! It's true! You can look it up!

Pressing the menu does not work in Duck Duck browser. What I get is a thin blue line racing across the almost top of the screen. But leaving my need aside - how does anyone follow any URL displayed on any page?
