Very rarely are people asking about notifications on their own phone. What usually lies behind these questions (apologies to the OP if this is not their situation) is that their partner sends them a screenshot, they see a notification on it they don't recognise and, for whatever reason, they can't live without knowing what it is and aren't able to just ask.

If it's your own phone you just pull the notifications down and you can see what it is.

He means when you add a contact you can either choose to sync with Google (or various other accounts such as Microsoft Exchange, Samsung Account, etc) or save it as a 'phone' only contact meaning it does not sync or backup the details. It'd be a local only contact and if you lost the phone or busted it, that data would be lost.

I've saved contacts as phone only since my Nokia 5185i days. It's just a habit I refuse to break, much like keeping my music on an SD Card, and avoiding anything mentioning the 'cloud' or 'subscription'

what is wrong with uploading a photo? i use google photos for just this purpose. it frees up space on my sd card and i never have to worry about my photos if my phone breaks or gets stolen.

have you looked at your photos online from a computer?

yeah nokia are not known for their tablets. they have decent phones, but i would never touch a tablet from them. a sumsung tab A is about the same price. those are much better tablets.

I love games resembling Moon or Jupiter Lander (from my old C-64). I tried your game and graphics are OK but controls seem to be too fast to move the ship. Also, gas is not enough sometimes for the first levels (with the moving barriers) making it really hard to win (specially with the super sensible controls). Good concept though. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

All Verizon phones were sold SIM unlocked out of the box (due to an FCC requirement) up until 2019. But with the network changes that T-Mobile has made this year, I'm assuming that such an old device is no longer compatible with them. You can check the IMEI here on their site though:

So the VLC Player for Android can't do that. Weird because the desktop version ticks all the boxes. The Musicolet player fulfills all requirements except cue-sheet support. If the player exists, please post briefly.

I am a licensed user of Titanium Backup (TB), am running V8.4.0.2 on my rooted Android device (which is running Android 10), and TB has run well for years - the only ‘issue’ being that the ‘Sync to Dropbox’ would never run as a scheduled task and I have had to run it manually.

However, when I recently tried to run ‘Sync to Dropbox’, it didn’t work. Based on some looking around, I found that ‘Erase the access token’ was the recommended fix. I did this, tried again, and had to login into Dropbox (and I do have the Dropbox app on my phone). Logging in was not an issue, seeing the files on Dropbox works just fine, but when I tried to run ‘Sync to Dropbox’, I see the message ‘Sorry, failed to obtain Dropbox access’.

I have asked Titanium Track LLC this question twice, but have not heard back from them. What on earth should I try?

Comic Sans actually makes me giggle at the things it's used on.




Just last week a new brand of back seat kits we got in for installing onto golf cars had its entire user guide in Comic Sans. It's the hilariously out of place use that makes it the most hated font since Papyrus (and made immortal as satire in two in-game characters in Undertale)



But that 'modern font' is so hard to read, atrocious and is EVERYWHERE yet nobody hates it.

I decided to go with the moto G stylus 5G. For what and what the stylus and edge plus are very similar, in screen size, battery. I really couldn't see a lot of different in the two. Yes if you want to get technical there are definitely differences.
My main reason for the stylus was it came with a stylus. With the edge plus it was an extra $80 for a stylus and case set.
My second reason was the price. I figure better to spend $400 on something I may or may not like, than $900. So far I like the stylus.

The stylus that did come with mine, only lasted a few days The rubber part kept falling part such a tiny little thing too. I was not too happy with the case after only lasting a few years though... Rubber..
