I upgraded the kernel to 6.5.0-15 on my main computer with -0- issues.

Graphics are good, but the levels do look a bit empty. You could add some trees or parks to fill op the empty areas. You could gain much more downloads by optimizing the keywords on your page.

I agree with ocnbrze, you could gain way more people with some marketing. What is the game about? Could you provide any screenshots? The App store looks nice as well, but isn't optimized for keywords. This could be a huge gain for you as well.

Hi fellow game developers, we’ve worked hard on our skills and completely rebuild our tank game for Android. To be honest, it was a rough ride. There are so many aspects to think about: storyline, consistancy, controls, difficulty ladder, graphics, sounds… Luckily, the Godot Engine has a lot to offer and the results are better than expected.

I did nothing. Based on looking at the Android Tablet I had, which has not been turned on for a month till after I posted this, finding that it operated with no swipe up and remove feature, I concluded that my memory of function on my Z Fold 4 was wrong. However, just for shits and giggles, soon I will test a new and current folder at Best Buy.

That guide is for the F variant. Those are very easy to bootloader unlock. The north american models have mtk chips and the usual unlocking methods do not work.

I actually figured it out. *#9900# to enable crash dump mode then while the phone is on hold vol - and power once the screen shuts off release the buttons then immediately press and hold power and it causes the kernel panic to boot into rdx.

Oh? It sounds like you have mixed feelings. What are you hoping to get from a Surface, which you don't get from your MacBook Pro M1?

Yes, my concern with "blurring the lines between truth and fiction" is the ability of these tools to auto-generate deceptive content, combined with the damaging effects of social media algorithms which already drive division and undermine truth in their quest for "engagement".

As I say, "AI" means many things. The AI that automates protein folding simulations and so massively accelerates drug design is not the same AI that writes a set of fake legal precedents for a court case or will generate a pastiche of Macbeth in the style of Donald Trump if you ask it to. But what all of these have in common is that they are applications of syntax rather than semantics, i.e. the machine learning algorithm applies rules without any knowledge of the meaning of what it is doing. It's indifferent to the concepts of "truth" or "falsehood" because it doesn't have any concepts whatsoever: you give it some input and it follows its set of rules until it reaches its stopping condition and then returns its output.

So an "AI" can be good at recognising "truth" if properly trained, and if the data it is assessing lies within the scope of its training. But when faced with something outside of that it can respond inappropriately, e.g. the Uber self-driving car which drove over a woman pushing a bicycle because it hadn't been trained not to. That is a mistake no human driver would make because a human understands that they are driving a car, there's something in front of them and there will be consequences if they just keep driving. The machine understands none of that: it has a stream of data, a set of responses, and a set of rules, and that's it: it does not know what either the data or the responses mean.

But the sort of "AI" that the Chief was referring to, the "generative AI", is utterly useless for discerning truth from falsehood, because that is not its function. It generates text (or images, but in this case text) in response to prompts, based on probability tables derived from large samples of human-generated text and a complex set of rules. So it will tell you that the Earth is flat as easily as it will tell you that the Earth is round, depending on the prompt it is given, because it doesn't understand that its output has any meaning. That is why they so easily "invent" or "hallucinate" falsehoods even when asked to give factual answers. John Searle's analogy of a "Chinese room" is a good description of what it does The only real difference is that the man in Searle's room, following a set of instructions to select the right set of (to him) meaningless symbols to return in response to the symbols passed to him, would surely speculate about what they were doing, whereas the machine cannot.

But if the assertion is that a ML algorithm doesn't have biases, that's clearly not true. There are biases from the training process: the data used and the training criteria applied. And has been shown time and time again, where the machine can "learn" from interaction it can acquire biases (Microsoft's infamous "Tay" chatbot for example: repeating racist tropes didn't make it happy, but a few hours interaction with racists or pranksters were enough to change "its truth"). And yes, when a big enough problem is uncovered the company behind the "AI" will introduce protections, i.e. changing the rules to reduce the probability of unwanted outputs, but that also shows how easily these things can be skewed to produce the "truth" that their creator wants you to hear.

That would make for a fun game I don't have a feel for who rises to the top. It's never easy to predict these games and this has been the season of crazy games.

Correct, I was thinking the file would be of Apple /Mac origin, and that is why it cannot be opened without the proper software. Glad to hear you at least got the file.

i would like to build a laptop version. and maybe one that can run an outdoor projector. my porch is perfect for a projector screen. and if i can run it via a rasberry pi pc that would be awesome.

i found that there is a way to use rasberry and steam so that you can play steam games.

this is the one i use:

it also helps block spam and robo calls.....not completely, a few still squeak thru, but it is no near what i used to get.

If Prime bails out diamond and bally sports, you can bet the motive is to turn the merger into additional Prime revenue.
Bally sports has the rights to the Royals games and has been my avenue to see my sorry team play for a number of years now. It has been part of my local cable company package and was available on directv when I switched providers. Whoever carries the Bally sports package will likely be my only viewing option being as I'm in the blackout area of KC Missouri here in mid Kansas.

I've had Scanner Radio on my phones for years, haven't used it much lately.
As a long-time ham operator and general radio guy I've always had plenty of scanners and other radios around, I have a Radio Shack Pro2004 which was one of the best analog scanners ever made. These days it sits unused although there is still plenty to listen to. NYPD is supposed to be going to encryption soon but they haven't yet.

Nope. I just started watching the TED teddy bear series the other day when nothing was on my other 2,000 channels.

The good ones were Twisted Metal, Killing It, and The Continental, all which were supposed to have new shows coming up but so far have not !

I will admit that the G/F has gotten me hooked on Days of Our Lives ....

The Steelers were definitely the underdog in that game. They didn't play all that bad considering. They got off to a rough start and stayed behind the rest of the game. I don't know what they plan on doing for QB next year. Mason is no spring chicken. Kenny has had more than a season to grow into a starting QB and never made it. It seems like enough time to me to simply move on but the Steelers probably won't. They are faithful to their players even when it hurts the team.
