you would have to root it first. pretty much all things rooted, you should do your research over at https://forum.xda-developers.com/. it is a developers forum where the devs post their goodies with things such as how to root certain devices as well as custom roms. unfortunately i could not find a forum for your device. sooooo that means that there is no dev community.

just remember that no devs= no fun.

here is what you need to do:
1.unlock the bootloader. some devices just needs an oem unlock to be enabled. some might need a code to unlock.
2.install a custom recovery usually twrp is the best out there.
3.either flash SU or use magisk to gain root
4.make a nandroid backup using twrp.....don't know what a nandroid backup, just ask
5.flash a custom rom.....if there is one avalable for your device.

also keep in mind that not all devices are rootable.
and there is no stock android.....use there are basic code, but what your are talking about is a rom. and yes there are stock roms that can be flashed, but they are very device specific and will depend on the manufacturer.

My Pixel 4a has developed the habit of switching to mute at various times, including when I answer the phone, while I'm speaking, and generally random times. I have read this thread, but are there any other thoughts?

Issue with alarmManager and work manager
Reminders are missing randomanly and mutiple reminders are comming for particular session, we have used alarm manager and workmanager for populating the reminder.
Description:
we are developing a healthcare app where we need to populate the alarm notification at a specific time like in the morning, afternoon, evening, night.
case 1 : Missed Reminders when the app is in deep sleep mode or in the idle state we are not getting reminder on all version of andorid till android version R.
case 2 : Mulitple reminders are coming when the device is actice during that time we are facing multiple reminders.
For alarms we are using.
1. Room Database for storing the alarm time.
2. Alarm manager's setExactAndAllowWhileIdle() method we are using for setting the alarm.
3. Broadcast reciever for getting the pending intent and showing the alarm notification.
4. Workmanager we are using to set alarms in the background.
if anyone can help us out how can we populate alarm notification at particular time, doesn't matter if mobile is in deep state or idle.
we have gone through with mutilple solution for it but it seems to us nothing is working properly.

All 4 USB ports behave the same, tried already on 3 different computers.
Cannot reliably copy from Win 7 or Win 10 to phone; difference is that win 7 displays that something went wrong with the copy process, win 10 says nothing but fails to copy some of the files and hides the trash under the carpet.

Ah, I did wonder - because I was sure this still worked for me, but it's so rare that I get one of those codes that it's not easy to test.

However I loathe "chat bubbles" so always turn anything of that sort off, which might explain why I'd not encounter a problem

I have to say that I'd think that any behaviour of Google Assistant is a Google thing.

I found this suggestion for a workaround in an old reddit thread:

tap the compass looking icon top right
tap the 3 dots icon top right
tap settings
tap assistant
Scroll to the bottom, under assistant devices tap your device
Scroll down tap speech output
tap Hands-free only

No idea if that still works/ever worked as I keep Assistant completely disabled myself, and am not going to turn it on to test as it takes so long to reset all of the privacy settings that enabling Assistant automatically changes .

Pretty nice if your new car has USB-C, most cars I've seen are still sporting the USB-A port. If C is available, by all meansuse it but make sure to get a good quality USB cable.
Anecdote: I had rented a car last year while traveling with one of my old standby USB-C | USB-A cables to provide for charging and possible Android Auto connectivity. It bothered me for several days that I couldn't get my S10+ to connect successfully to Android Auto, until I stopped in at a Micro Center and buy a new cable. After that it worked like a charm. So either USB-A or USB-C, get a good cable.

The module `products` has the class `CoreServiceTest` which extends the `BaseServiceTest` class. The class `BaseServiceTest` it imported into the class `CoreServiceTest` but when try run the I received `Unresolved reference: BaseServiceTest`. It's strange because the class it's imported but can't run it.

I have T Mobile with an Android LG K500 phone. I had been getting group texts for years and showing multiple recipients however in the last few months, my phone is only showing the sender. I have no idea if this is a group text or individual. This causes confusion b/c I don't know who will be getting my responses to the texts. It must have changed with one of the previous updates.
