build.Gradle Project file problem

So im up to step3 of Firebase setup.. paste code onto Project-level build.gradle (/build.gradle).. but the file doesnt have Dependancies or Repositorie on the file..

Here is a copy of my build.Gradle Project file..

Code:
// Top-level build file where you can add configuration options common to all sub-projects/modules.
plugins {
    id 'com.android.application' version '7.1.0' apply false
    id 'com.android.library' version '7.1.0' apply false
    id 'org.jetbrains.kotlin.android' version '1.6.10' apply false

}

task clean(type: Delete) {
    delete rootProject.buildDir
}

...so where do i paste the file from Firebase? everywhere i paste it, it wont syn. Or have i not set up the program correctly? im using Kotlin

Just so you talented people know .. ive just started Progaming.. today. So if you could explain what im doing wrong and explain your code it would help me learn from my mistakes.. having dyslexia is tough enough lol. Im trying to build a communication app for my son who has mental helath issues.

Thanks for any help

About 3 years ago I added "Wyatt" to my Google Android dictionary, and 3 phone later

That is a very good question.
Are you still using G-Board (yuck)?

This is just more proof of Google keeping track of every keystroke.

Maybe using a firewall to block internet access of the keyboard (once again, it seems that this should not be necessary- but, you know- Google) clearing the data of the keyboard, and seeing if that works?

Or just start using a different keyboard that does not send your keystrokes to anywhere else.

How to turn off play protect?

I prefer not to take those risks. Having frequently seen what can happen pirated Windows myself, as I've already mentioned.
Depends which version you use. KMSAuto is fine. Had it on 7 PCs for years.

Yes you can.
Sorry, I have proper cameras, worth up to 3 grand. Things with little 1mm plastic lenses do not take proper photos. There simply isn't enough light entering that small a space to take a decent image. You can't change the laws of physics.

Of course I've heard of micro SDs, I've been using them in my phone for more than ten years now. It sounds like your lifestyle is different to mine. Like I have to be mobile, and is NOT tied to a desktop computer in a room, and so my smart-phone has to be my PC and everything else especially when travelling, and be my camera. and my media player, and my entertainment system.

BTW I have several USB-drives with 1000 thousands of feature length films and TV shows on them, and they don't need a PC to view them.
Since you know about SD cards, then you'll realise it really doesn't matter that the internal storage of my phone is small. I simply add as many TB as I want.

Bluetooth Extender Antenna ?

need to find something to extend my bluetooth reach from my phone
my phone is connecting to other devices and i want to reach more devices ( IOT )
I have been looking for 3days now ... and need help

So it sounds like you need to connect an external 2.4GHz antenna to the phone's internal Bluetooth, which extend the range. Given that phones and tablets don't have such things as standard. How competent are you with electronics hacking and modifications?

Bluetoth itself is supposed to be 10 metres range, and maybe 100 metres if using BT 5.0 devices.

Load app into decommissioned cell phone?

Yes, just connect to wi-fi and download whatever apps you choose.

I have devices that I use solely in this way.

Modern cellphones can be had at Wal-Mart for $40-$50 to be used in this way.

(Some modern apps won't run on older devices.)

Basically it can be like a miniature computer, you are just not using the cellular portion.

Place the device into airplane mode to be rid of any SIM or service notifications.

Then turn wi-fi on and connect.

Here are some excellent appstores to check out, F-Droid being 1st choice.

Hacker in my phone?

Maybe you had previously deleted apps that hadn't used enough data to appear in the statistics, and so didn't see this (this would also apply if you only used them with WiFi, since that is counted separately from mobile data).

Anyway what I'm saying is based on more than a decade of using Android. This is how the usage stats display data used by apps that have since been removed, and it is by definition only historical usage because an app that has been removed cannot use more data. Wait a couple of weeks and it will disappear from your statistics unless you remove more apps that also used mobile data in the meanwhile (in which case any data used by those apps will appear as a new "removed apps" entry).

What do you actually think this is? That's what I don't understand.

The icon for the app you have ringed is the default icon for apps which don't have an icon, which are usually background system apps but not always. Different manufactures add different things in different models, so not having seen a particular app on other devices means nothing (to me the name "Saffron" would make me think of a theme, but that may be completely wrong). More surprising is that your settings are showing an app that appears to have no data usage.
honestly I was thinking it was a spy app or something and the name would be some kind of camouflage, because the battery is having a higher consumption and the cell data left 10% to 20%, but in the last month it was lacking.

I hope I'm wrong about how easy it is for someone to have some monitoring on my cell phone without ever having physical access to it, I also hope that monitoring via the internet or any other way is not so simple. I don't know if this would help, but I bought vpn and use orbit because I believe I have more privacy.

Now, if what you say is true, I'm calmer and I hope I'm totally wrong in my intuition.

Anyway thanks a lot for the help.
Thank you all.

I have not had a chance to test it out fully on my international S21 Ultra device yet but it looks promising.

Happy 1st Birthday Galaxy S21 series!

VLjhRRQm.jpg

It has been a year since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series of phones.

In that time there has been around 26 stable updates and 3 beta releases for the international model, depending on location and CSC code.

Personally, I am loving my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, SM-G998B, model on the latest BVA9 update. The phone has come a long way in the last year and it is very fast and smooth with no lags or stutters and a great battery life and a camera that now more than suits my needs.

Lets see what the next year brings with the roll-out of One UI 4.1.

sign up to heytap?

Before it updated, were you signed into an Oppo account with your phone? Because they moved Oppo ColorOS cloud accounts over to Heytap, which is a third-party cloud services provider that Oppo(BBK) now uses.

More information here:
https://support.oppo.com/en/answer/?aid=neu7839
"HeyTap Cloud/OPPO Cloud are terms that can be used interchangeably.

OPPO Cloud is now migrated to HeyTap Cloud Service to provide users a secure and reliable cloud storage space. Everything you store—photos, videos, music, contacts, messages, notes, browser bookmarks, calendars, and other personal information—can be conveniently accessed and managed in HeyTap Cloud."

I believe it's similar for Realme, Vivo, and OnePlus phones as well, as they're all from the same manufacturer. BBK.
