The phone definitely has both CDMA and GSM capability. Whether it works with an AT&T SIM would depend on whether it will accept an AT&T SIM by default, or if it only accepts Verizon SIMs by default and would need to be SIM unlocked in order to accept a different SIM.

Where does Android Studio expect to find CocoaPods? Could this be a path problem?

I'm trying to test my app on my iPhone from Android Studio. The error I get is

I restarted Android Studio.

I ran File > Invalidate Caches… > Invalidate and Restart.

I ran

pod install

This threw this error:

Try opening your recent apps screen and then tapping the app icon at the top of an app on that screen. There should be a split screen option.

I was given a 10" NuVision Android tablet (TM101A620MPPM) that I'm hoping to rehabilitate and possibly install a custom ROM on. I've done 3rd-party ROMs before, mostly LineageOS, but I haven't been able either to get this tablet to boot or enter state where a computer (or ADB) will recognize it.

It makes no difference whether I simply power it on, or power it on holding the volume button either up or down, it turns on, displays the NuVision splash screen ... and hangs. I've left it sitting for a day or longer in that state and it's only ever got beyond the splash screen and to the juggling balls once. On that one occasion it took a couple of hours to get to the juggling balls but then hung there for another day without proceeding further.

I've also been trying to establish communication with ADB, ... without success. I've used multiple computers, Linux and Windoze, and multiple USB cables connecting to the various USB ports. In no case has any of the computers recognized that there was a USB device attached, nor has "adb devices" shown it was connected.

Is there anything else I might try to revive this thing, some secret incantation, sacrifice a yellow rooster under a gum tree during a new moon, etc?

Hey, Hope you are doing good in 2022. I'm doing the same project that you have mentioned in 2019. I'm creating an android app for filters and I have created some filters in photoshop. Now I am finding ways to use these action files in android studio. So if you solved this problem 3 years ago I hope you can help me in this regard.

I'm using a Whitestone bonded screen protector which works perfectly with the fingerprint sensor. A Ferilinso soft clear case with supposed military grade drop protection. I like both. I tried a dBrand case which protected better but weighed a ton.
Finally I'm using a Sinstar attachment which lets me use my 3.5 mm earphone plug and charge at the same time. It is very clean with the earphone but if I plug in or unplug the charging cable while using the earphones, the music shuts off.

Ok, so after a week of changing my SIM, there hasn't been an issue (fingers crossed lol) it does still take a few longer secondso to switch back from WIFI to Data, but at least it isn't disappearing. Thanks everyone for your help and advice! I'll update if anything goes wrong.

Yeah...no....I tried that before. I still ended up with tons of results that include the attached handheld shower. You'd think that would be an OPTION, right? One that you could filter out? But...apparently not....

Hello everyone, I have an LG smartphone model LG LML212VL, that is running Android 8.1.0, and is using Tracfone Wireless Pay as you go plan for service, and it has a strange issue that I cannot find any cause for....
Whenever I make a call, and get a robot (automated answering system) providing options, or menus, it cuts in and out, making it so that I cannot hear the instructions, and it cannot recognize my responses.
Basically, what I hear is bits and pieces of instructions, and 'I'm sorry, I didn't get that, lets try again' over and over until it either hangs up on me, or connects me to a live agent.
If I am connected to someone, it is a good thing truthfully, as I would always rather speak with a human being than with a recording, but oftentimes, this is not the case, and I am missing out on accomplishing goals because of it. It is a real problem, mainly because SO MANY companies nowadays have robots answering their phones, long before you are allowed to reach an agent, forcing you to jump through a labyrinth of confusing hoops in order to get anything done.
It does not seem to be happening when I am talking to live people though, and only automated answering robots, so I am thoroughly confused by this behavior. Can someone give me a possible cause for this, and if available, a fix??

followup: it did not go away when I uninstalled that Kaizen app, but it hasn't appeared since I went to playstore and clicked uninstall for speech services. Hey google still works and I have not noticed anything that does not.

We have had posts like this before, like "My Sprint phone or whatever tethering was working, the phone updated, and now tethering is disabled.". And it has been those updates are apparently to enable the carrier restrictions.

No I have done that several times and it then opens the link in the browser only. I have uninstall the apps to and reinstalled which made no difference. To get it to open in the app I have to go into apps and go into either of the two apps and tell it open from email, but I then still don't get the options up instead it will only open in that particular app.

That sounds like the "Free Public WiFi." Windows virus, that was quite prevalent about 10-15 years ago.

And I did see it myself, while waiting for trains and planes sometimes. And the safe solution to that was, don't attempt to connect your Windows laptop to WiFi SSIDs you don't know or trust.

why, oh why, continue to use an unbranded (or otherwise) Samsung device on Verizon?

Personally, I would choose to not deal with either one individually, and the thought of trying them together leads me to envision pieces of phone everywhere and an expensive contract.

Playing games will cause it to charge slow.

Doing anything with it while it charges slows down the charging.
