Anything I want to keep is on a computer (Desktop or laptop) and on an external Hard disk, offline when not i use, and at least on USB stick/SD card.
I'm always amazed when someone posts that their phone ha died and there's no backup. My phone syncs automatically with Google (data is always on so photos get to Google photos pretty much immediately). You can never have too many backups. Oh, and remember to check that backups are readable, theyre useless if you can't read them.

Not sure if the cause is the same as the method you used, but the app iSMS2droid for transferring SMS to Android says this in their FAQ:

Why are there no images in my messages?

If you receive a SMS message or plain-text iMessage, your iPhone takes the text body and saves it (together with some metadata) into its message database. This also happens when you receive a MMS message (or iMessage with attachments), but when saving the text body and metadata into the message database, it also downloads the attachments and saves them into a specific folder on your iPhones filesystem, and then puts the path to those attachments into a separate table in the message database.

This means we now have the text body and the information about its attachments in the database – but we don’t have the attachment files themselves. When you create a backup of your iPhone, those attachments get also backed up to your computer, but each one as a separate files with a cryptic filename that is based on the path of the file on your phone.

It would theoretically be possible to also import the attachments, but that would require you to copy your whole iTunes backup folder to your Android phone, as it is impossible to predict which files from your backup are message attachments until iSMS2droid actually opens the message database and starts importing.

1024x600 was the usual screen resolution when cheap netbooks were around, usually running Win XP or sometimes Ubuntu, And even then some PC software wouldn't display properly on them, with controls and things sometimes going off the bottom of the screen and couldn't be accessed.

Do you know how to change the continuous reading speed? Whenever I select the changing speed option it changes the reading speed without continuous reading activated, but it does not affect the continuous reading speed when activated. It seems there must be separate ways to change the reading speeds and I can't figure it out. This application is a disaster

You now have a feature called 'continuous reading' which works for Kindle app. On a page you just swipe right then double tap and it will read through the pages without having to swipe through them individually. Not sure how well this works with other eBook apps.

I'm looking for exactly the same feature. I've got a dual sim phone, but the "do not disturb" feature only works by turning the ringer off and back on at certain times so all messages and calls are missed. I want my work sim to go silent and straight to VM out of hours and my personal sim to stay on. I can't believe such an obvious feature is missing from a device designed for this very purpose. Does anyone know of any apps that will overide the DND feature in android settings and manage both sims seperately and not together? Cheers.

Finally, the issue might have been solved.

It looks like it was the operating system. Nothing more, nothing less!

There was an update to the operating system (RMX3081_11_A.41). After this update, after a reboot or leaving AirplaneMode, the device did connect to 4G right away!

So it was the operating system! It was the used Android version!

You already have developers options available in the settings?

If so, don't worry about tapping the build number.

Anyway, the Stay awake feature in developers options will only work while the device is charging.

You could try an app, one called Coffee.

Google keyboard does help, it does modify to whatever you want with the handwriting also keyboard suggestions too

I dug around for the web developer tools, change my registery on my window system, also I added in a few times, then I went to theme creator and now it is green writing Sorry I kept you all out of the loop, it took me about four days figuring out everything.

It is so very easy to project a different or enhanced persona on the internet. It would be difficult for me to put any faith in a dating app. Perhaps they work to some degree but it would be my last resort. I'd put my faith and luck in meeting that special person in any sort of social circle long before I'd try online. Church, volunteering, clubs, sports, any sort of activity where you are a part of a group would be my choice of meeting someone special.

Sorry, I'm thinking you don't understand. The zoom is limited between 200-800% and I'd like to utilize the 100-200% region.

it probably means data as in cellular data connection. reboot your phone, most likely it is just a glitch.

Have you opened developer options on your phone?

If so, have you changed any of the bluetooth settings from the defaults?

I address my emails when I get around to them but I like to respond quickly to my texts. I well understand your frustration. Samsungs have a slider to adjust notification sound level under settings >sounds and vibrations >volume. I suspect you've checked for something similar.
Perhaps the phone's volume level is something you might experiment with as well.

There is an old app that I use just for this purpose.

It may or may not work on your device.

It is called Brightness Level from a company called Curve Fish.

OK I push the power button to turn the phone on,and the word "UNIHERTZ" pops up on the screen but then the phone goes back off before it can get any further. I done changed batteries and the screen itself. It's getting power because the screen does come on just does not goes pass the "UNIHERTZ " logo
