FWIW my China variant Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra doesn't show any volume warnings, unlike my EU variant Galaxy S7.

This does sound like there's some kind of glitch that's causing the authentication step of just lock up on itself. Could be some some kind of compatibility issue due to something like a system upgrade but that's a situation where you have an existing Family Link set up and implemented and then an operating system upgrade gets installed. Since this is a new phone, unless it was a matter where you had Family Link set up on it and then applied an OS version upgrade, a more likely occurrence is some config file became corrupted and it's a matter of getting past that.
Try going into the Settings >> Apps menu on her phone, find and open the Family Link app entry, tap on Force stop, then find and tap on Clear data. Using Clear data will wipe the app's settings and config files, and the app's cache. This essentially returns the app back to its original first time used state so when you start the app up you need to go through the entire set up and configuration process again.

Yes, it might revert to the screen timeout that you have set.

There are some apps that can keep your screen on, but remember that this will drain your battery.

Probably the best method is to open Developers Options and use the Stay Awake feature.

This will let the screen dim after the set timeout, but it will not go completely off.

It will only be active while the phone is charging, so it will not drain the battery.

This is especially useful in the car, both during calls and for playing music.

This is why I don't even bither with the voice crap.

I save time because I do not need to go back and check everything that I said.

When my sister changed numbers I was able to still see her Whatsapp messages I had but they didn't have her name displayed, just her old number. Of course I never sent to that number again but added her new number and used that one.
No clue about saving conversations, not a concern for me lol

I finally fixed it; I had to go into Settings -> Accounts -> selected "Email". Then, I used the "Manual" setup option to get it working. I used:
IMAP-MAIL Outlook.com
Security SSL
Port 993
For whatever reason, doing this manually made it work and I'm back in business. I have no idea why whatever the other process does didn't want to work.

The factory reset wiped everything; there was no trace of any of my accounts afterwards.
Now, all is bliss.

About 59 wpm, depending on if it is in a chat, if it is on a wps, depending on the day

Hey gang, been a long time since I've needed help. I've got an issue since the last Android update around a month ago.

I'd been having video calls on a weekly basis, then the OS updated, and then the video calls no longer worked. We tried a couple of different video platforms, they all appeared as though they should be working (permissions, green lights, check marks, etc), but the video screen just wouldn't pop up.

Although we've been using my iPad ever since as a substitute, I'd really like to fix the issue with my phone. Thanks in advance.

Anytime there are characters that an app considers ''invalid', there will be some sort of issue.

Unfortunately, the apps I have seen do not let you know which characters are 'invalid'.

Soooo, did you try the Chinese website?

I put window tint on my crystal ball, and can no longer see into it.

Where can i find the log file which stores the logs for a certain period? Can i get the path in which that logs are recorded and stored??

My bet would be that more than 90% of the animals that die locked inside closed cars are dogs.

This is very telling about the sort of people that have dogs.

They can't leave the thing at home because
A. it will destroy the house if left alone and/or
B. the owner is deranged and just HAS to take it everywhere.

Coupled with these is the fact that it happens so often, yet they never seem to learn.

Like I said, it's been years since I used a two sim phone, so I don't remember how the settings were, I just kinda remember the options in there. At least you got it sorted so it is useable.

Samsung Browser is one of the best browsers I have used, but...
In f.ex Chrome the shortcut ctrl-tab toggles between the open tabs in the browser.
This also goes for Samsung browser, However if you deselect the "show tabs under the address line" this does not work anymore. Thats a pity, because its an even more useful shortcut when the tabs does not show.

Freon is just a brand name !

What is in a/c units is refrigerant, there are many brands, and many refrigerants.

The Montreal Protocol called for the phasing out of certain refrigerants due to the alleged ozone hole issue.

The manufacturing of R-22 in the USA was banned in January 1, 2010, yet importation of it was/is still allowed.

Once the importation ban is mandated there will be only what is on the shelf and then the train wreck begins.

I used to do refrigeration work until a jug of R-12 went up to a thousand dollars .... I used to pay 25 dollars for a green jug, (R-22/aka Freon), today's prices ranges from 500 to 800 dollars for the same jug ! ! !
