nope sorry, it does not quite work that way .....unfortunately.

you can back up certain apps and some data but that's about it. there is also a way to backup text messages with an app called sms backup. not sure about sony, buy samsung has a nifty backup and restore utility called smart switch.. it saves all of your apps, contacts, call logs,, and settings. it does not save data or text messages however.

Ah, on my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra it's called "Quick Share", although when I tried it, It never found any other devices to share with.

What phone? This may matter because messages like that are manufacturer/model dependent.

But more importantly, flashing with unauthorised firmware does not generally lock a phone so that you can't use it - in fact I have never heard of any phone that does that. So the first thing I'd do is ignore that message and see whether I can access the data anyway. If the problem is actually an app and not a system feature then trying Safe Mode, as Milo suggests, would deal with that, but personally I'd just try booting it normally first and see whether there genuinely is a problem.

If you are actually prevented from accessing your data then please describe what happens when you try to boot it up (I'd not worry about a message that only appears on a charging screen).

(I am incidentally assuming that you have not tried to modify the phone in the past, and that this message is spurious. If you have ever modified it then if you cannot access your data please tell us what you did).

Hi guys.. can someone help me with wat im facing..
When ever im texting some one on snap chat.. typing more than 3 digits are sent as a call number.. dots are automatically taken as website link.. like if iam typing 100 and sending it.. it comes as call 100.. if iam sending 1000 it comes as call 1000.. if iam writing time as well till 9.59 it shows correctly.. 10.10 again it sends as call 10.10. Im tired of searching the internet. May be im not using correct terms... also its happening in snapchat only. Rest apps like whatsapp and all are fine. Pls help its irritating.

So you are looking for cloud storage instead of storage on your device, for your music? Personally, I use Plex on my computer as a media streaming server, to every device I own.
Not exactly cloud storage but I can stream my entire video and audio library anywhere in the world.

and i just want re-iterate what @Hadron said. we basically need as much info as you can provide....what is your model number? what exactly did you do? did you use a guide or website to root? if so, can you provide a link? the more info you give us the better we can help.

Are we sure they were the same type of call? Many message apps (your WhatsApps, Messengers etc) can also do VoIP "phone calls", and since those are using a different system to the regular telephone call I don't know how they will interact with a normal voice call.

I use Spigen rugged armor case on my Pixel 4XL. I've been using Spigen cases now for about four years more, less. They're thin and not bulky yet tough and protect my device when I occasionally drop it... Which has actually happened more with this phone than ever and never a ding! Excellent cases!! The best imo! I believe I paid $15 USD 6-7 mo months ago. Most definitely great cases!!

Because I set up so many decices, I have recently tried a new (to me) method that seems to work great.

Put all the apps onto an SD card in apk format.
When you get a new device, put that SD card in it and install all the apps.
Sometimes there is compatibility issues, but at least you have the name of the app to search for a working version for the new device.

I just went through and selected what apps I wanted, then moved them to the card.

Another way is to upload the apks to cloud storage, and download them to the new device.

In fact, you can even send the apks directly to the new device if both are on the same Wi-Fi and both have NitroShare.

Thanks for that tip had not thought to move the APK to the SD card and being my tablet won't let me install apps on my SD card I need to use the 256GB for something and perfect way to save loved apps. Yeah I had it on my old phone but when I got my new phone last November I went to install the app and could no longer find it in the store. Glad I found a way to transfer it over to my new phone and tablet.

It's a simple word game but I like it as no ads and you can play it offline which is great when flying and such just adds one more thing you can do on long boring flights besides sleep HA HA

Have you tried rebooting the phone? The number in the menu should update, but it sometimes needs a kick.

Mind you, since no network in the UK has official plans to shut down their 3G service (or even 2G for the 3 networks that have that) Tron's particular problem doesn't arise here. I was impressed that they would send out a new phone when your old one was going to stop functioning though: I'm pretty sure the UK carriers would just send you a text saying that you had a few weeks to buy a new handset...

Thanks for spending time and testing the app. Currently, there is no challange in app like time. It is like a game to realize a hobby. In future i want to add challenges like time or maybe more cars, more car parts, different mud colors, interior cleaning etc. I want to shape the app depending on the feedback i receive from users since i dont have time to implement all at once.
