This should work for you:

1) Factory reset the phone This will remove your google account and everything anyone has installed (except for things in /system. Do not use it after factory reset.
2) on a computer or other known safe device, change your google password, and passwords for any other accounts you use on the phone.
3) buy a NEW phone, wither unlocked or from your carrier.
4) Then add your google account to the new phone
5) set up 2 Factor Authentication for your Google account, and any others you use on the phone.
6) Install any apps you want from known safe sources. e.g. Google Play store, F-Droid, Amazon app store or apkpure.

Now enjoy your new phone

What do you mean that 'domain email account'? Is it your gmail inbox, or your own mailbox with your domain name some like 'yourname@youredomain.com'?

I'll be honest, I thought that Google's "Files" app was like that, that it only showed categories. It does actually have access to the directory structure, but that was invisible unless you scrolled down, and as it happened on my device the way their categories lined up with the bottom of the screen there was no visible indicator that there was anything to scroll down to. So I dismissed it as a typical POS Google app and never used it.

(Eventually I found that if you scrolled down and clicked "internal storage" there is a real file browser there. But it's still inferior to any of those I installed myself, so I still don't use it ).

Ok, so I don't agree with the OP on everything said.

That does not mean that I do not find the post well written, and actually funny- even hilarious- in a George Carlin sort of way.

I might even agree with a lot more of what was said if I was still trapped with my first Android device.

I had all the same issues as OP, at least when I first started and had no clue as to how to fix them.

Even now, I still have the issue of some caches filling up with useless junk and dropping anchor on the performance of the app and the device.

Sure, tell me about how I need a device with more memory, and then I won't have that issue.
The point remains that the caches of many apps will fill up with 1GB (or more) of crap that will never make the apps or device work better or faster. More memory on the device is not a viable solution. When I make more room, the caches grow even larger.

The simple solution is to contact the developer(s), and see if anything can be done. If not, then ditch such apps- because the programming is bad, and there are sure to be apps out there that perform the same function but do not store hoards of junk for no reason.

As for the data mining, this is also a reality.
Once again, the solution is to find and then use privacy oriented apps that do not do such things.

Stay (far) away from Google Play Store. Often, even apps available elsewhere have Google trackers on the version available there.

Use FOSS apps as much as possible.

Use a VPN (Proton VPN).

Use a firewall (NetGuard), to control what apps even have access to the internet.

There are even apps that allow the user to control exactly what internet connections can be made with each app (Tracker Control).

If I can have and use these on the cheap, low powered devices that I use, I can't think of a reason for others to not be able to as well.

I've tried scouring the site for a related thread but most that seem relevant are from 2016. I have a S10 running Android 11. I have had this issue for a long time now, (I THINK) dating back to my previous S8 model. So it may not specifically be hardware related.
I run multiple Gmail based accounts on my phone. 2 personal and one work related (1 personal is rarely used). The problem first appeared with the work account. It is a gmail email w/ a @"XYZ".com name. Now I've started noticing the same issue w/ my personal account.
It appears as if my gmail app is going to sleep after a certain amount of time. Occassionaly I will open my app and within a few to 5-10 secs I will have no new messages. If I refresh the screen by pulling down or sometimes on it's own, the inbox will refresh and new messages will appear. These messages could be anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours old.
I have verified that Gmail is set to "never sleep" and I recently turned my performance mode up but have seen this happen since doing so. The most significant aspect is that it appears to only happen if I haven't checked it in a while. I have witnessed this happen on both mobile data and home wifi. I do have spotty reception at work but this has occurred outside of work as much if not more often.
This seems to have been a common issue at one time if not still current but I can't seem to determine if there's ever been a resolution determined.

Last, I'm considering a 3rd party email app if I have to but would really rather not go that route (really from a learning curve convienence only). If I did use something like Spark, would it not just pull from the Gmail app or would it connect to the servers directly and bypass gmail app?

I have a Seicanne h6 in two of my cars and they work great. Recently I tried to transfer video and audio files from usb thumb drive to the internal flash memory. The preloaded file viewer app doesn’t allow for file transfer, copy or paste only viewing. After some research I downloaded two file transfer apps from the play store. One app (exFAT / NTFS) doesn’t seem to see the usb thumb drive the other can’t successfully transfer.
Should I keep trying file management apps? Seems like there is a file loader app on android head units other than the play store but that hasn’t been successful either. Am I missing something here? Why does the android head unit maker want to make it hard to transfer files onto the flash memory.
I’m a mechanic and have little experience with coding so any advice please describe steps in detail. Thank you

But yeah, if the screen has failed it's repair or replace. But LG have spared you from having to say "I'll never buy another LG after this..." .

That's an SQL error which suggests that a database used by either Android or an app is either corrupt or was not correctly coded.
