I did read "poc swap" is to do with financial eligibility, whatever that is. Other than that, no idea as I've never had to deal with locked phones and restrictive US carriers.

It is a severe drain, as is anything Google related, on any resource strained device.
So much so, that I notice an immediate overall improvement for the elimination of any Google app.
yep sounds like the easiest solutionok thanks it looks like i would be better off just getting another monitor and be don with it.
double sided tape should work OK
Actually you can. I've done it many times as this photo will show. It is a dual purpose jack and many phones have them but that information is not usually in the manuals... but a quick search on Google/YouTube will show it. For this shot I was using a Movo VXR10 microphone.
The issue I have is that when you do use an external microphone, the speaker is deactivated; on the G7 at least. I suspect the reason is the phone thinks you're using a headset with a microphone, even though it shows an external microphone option in camera settings. That makes no sense, but anyway. I would like to have the speaker functional as needed when I have a microphone plugged in.

Yeah I tried that, no luck. Again, I also tried resetting all the app preferences. I've looked around a bunch of other threads online and it seems no one else knows how to fix this.uninstall and reinstall yahoo mail.......not sure what you can do after that, if that does not work.
