I think it's a standard, yes. It's so important to me that I needed to confirm but yes. The track and trace app sounds like a merit.I think BLE is standard on most Android 5+ phones these days. It had better be there as the U.K's official National Health Service COVID-19 Track and Trace app uses BLE, 24/7.![]()
I like the BLE communication. Though it's close range, it works flawlessly and in no way interferes with regular BT.
Speaking of BT. I read or saw that the S21 can BT to two different devices simultaneously. The only example I saw was to the Sammy wireless buds. Where as my traditional wireless Bose buds receive the BT stream to one bud and in turn that bud sends that stream to the other, with the Sammy buds, both buds receive the stream from the S21. It will be interesting to see if that will work with two different devices such as two sets of BT speakers.
