Update an android device by flashing stock rom?

ok, fair enough but i have 2 questions

1 what if the phone comes in only one single version? Moreover, I distinctly remember that it came with android 6 out of the box, which seemed strange to me after a while, i mean every device should get an update (at least once), it can't just come with android 6 and never get an update, i mean ever, right?

2 the manufacturer controls which updates should be pushed out to which model, right? How do they do that? I mean do they use IMEI for that purpose or something?
1. there really no such device right now. manufacturers will come out with their latest phone and then they will have to market it for the various parts of the world. each place will get its own version of the new phone.....thus creating various models of the same phone. so unless you buy on off brand phone that only markets to one place in the world, you will not see just one model of a phone being produced.

2. its a combination of the manufacturer and your provider. it usually is done over the air and i have no idea how they determine when and who gets the update........most likely by imei, but who knows.

Looking for an app

Hello,
I hope this the right place to ask this. My apologies if not.
First off, I'm an injection mold polisher. I sit at a desk and polish various molds everyday..

What I'm looking for.

An app that I can log and track my daily time and link to pictures of each job. I'm wanting to be able to search both directions. Like.. on any day I can go to a day and click the link and view the pic and see details of the job and reverse, view the pic and search everytime I've done that particular job.

I know it's kinda confusing to read but in concept I think it's simple..

I know there are lots of time logging apps and one note does a great job of being able to put a pic in with detailed notes but I can't find a simple app that combines the 2 features without a ton of extra stuff I don't need.

If anyone can suggest an app I'm happy to buy it but not looking for cloud storage or monthly subscription.

Thanks,
Robbie
Like I said with the other fellow whom imputed their name with the thank you, remember every time you implied the name on here, you kind of get sneaked into bad habbits by revealing your name on here, other then that, we pretty much use our online handles and just chill on here.

Second off welcome in, and I am pretty sure this will help you out though, I too kind of have a bad habit of putting into one menu over the next, and wishing over in such a deligation more ore less then, in that same way, I think uptime shall do it, since then it will automatically clock in your time that you have with each project.

Pixel 4a vs Samsung Galaxy A51 5G

I've never used either flavor (as I said, I'm coming from a budget Motorola phone), so I don't have a pre-existing preference, though I hear that One UI has improved greatly in both performance and usability in recent updates. My needs aren't too great. I want a phone with good performance (the lag on the Moto g5+ is terrible) and a decent camera. I am not a heavy phone user. As long as the common apps (phone, browser, music, fit, maps, messenger) are responsive, and remain so over time, especially after OS updates, I'm happy.

Colour laserjet Mode and Toner query

Mine is a Color Laserjet Pro M254MW - USB/Ethernet/WiFi Colour Laser printer (no scanner). It's old enough to use refilled toner carts and the colour out[put is superb, arguably better (less saturated/bright) than some inkjets. It has HP's older solid build quality - on a par with the Laserjet 5 office workhorse. And they're cheap.

Hi,

Thanks for this info, I'll have a look if still available.
I have other feedback which is also very positive in colour laserjet, my mind's made up.

Hanks for your contribution too.
