Am I correct that as opposed to Google Music on Android Auto (Car Interface) there is no button to Dislike a song to help build your personalized profile. The function is on the phone app. How lame.

There's various pages on the internet showing screenshots of the Apple Music "For You Page" Many of them at the top left show a big square labeled "New Music Mix" One such page is here:

I'm running Apple Music on Android (and iTunes on Windows). But I don't see this "New Music Mix" although I of course have an Apple Account, is this "New Music Mix" discontinued, or is it only available on iOS devices? Just looking for a changing playlist of suggestions of songs that are not in my library but that I may like based on my listening preferences and sings I've previously marked "loved"


It seems the recommendations on the For You are mostly if not all for specific songs, artists, albums, and specific genres. Where do I go to get an updated PLAYLIST tailored to my preferences that spans multiple artists and genres?

yep i agree with @Dannydet . it sounds like a battery issue and unfortunately the battery is not removable. devices these days are made to lost as long as the battery. lithium batteries are made to last about 3-4 years before they need to be replaced. you are well past that time.

i think it is time you look for a new phone.

I am basically a Electronic hardware guy with limited knowledge on Android.

With some efforts in last few weekends I could successfully install an Android 10 build into my raspberry Pi 4 single board computer.

This works all right when the Ethernet is always connected.

1. When Ethernet it disconnected it goes into a reset loop and even does not connect to wifi with correct password? Can anybody share how to move forward to solve this ? You can see this failure at the end of the below video link which I posted on youtube.



2. When I start skype it does not connect always, probably because skype for Android always looks for an wifi connection… so it fails to sign me in. Work around >> with skype lite I can log in.

Can anybody guide me how to force skype to sign in using the Ethernet in Android?

In some attempts when I was lucky to connect the wifi and sign in skype.. then it works all right even when I later connect my Ethernet.

I am using LG V35 ThinQ Mobile its screen dpi is 538 but in developer option smallest width is 411!
Now can I increase my smallest width to 538??and increasing smallest width is harmful or what?

We are currently using Device Admin application in Android 9 OS devices successfully and it is redirect to a Object reference error related to "ResolveInfo ActivityInfo" when we restart the Android 10 devices.Is there any way to solve this issue?

I changed theLCD display in my Honor 9 ... It's okay, but not really ... I have a few comments ..

1. The frame is darker in color (blue) than my old one (cracked) ... I only have a touchpad of the same color ...

2. It gets a little warm, especially in the upper part ...

3. Scrolling pages from top to bottom or vice versa is not smooth. Every now and then there is a jump up or down (depending on which side I scroll)

4. I have lost my gestures of movement - knocking on the screen with a knuckle to take a screenshot ... "painting" on the screen with a knuckle - "S" long shot, "M" - turning to Music ... etc

5. The colors of photos, websites and all colors in general are much darker than the previous ones with the original LCD


The first point is unlikely to change. Ultimately I can accept it ..

The second point, as I read, could be a wrong screen assumption (something with tape and thermal paste ... I don't really know ...) could the one who mounted it correct it .. ??

Third point, I wonder if in Android there is an option like in Windows with the setting of the mouse wheel, where you can set how many "jumps will scroll the image ... ??

Fourth point - I must admit that it pisses me off the most .. Is it the fault of the new LCD .. ?? bad exchange ... ?? or maybe there is an option that restores these gestures (in options of course, all gestures are set to - "On") ..

The fifth point, probably also impossible to change ..


Do you have any advice for me ... ?? What to do..??

I agree with @Hadron Your phone's RAM isn't something you should interact with directly, when you do it's much more likely to just mess something up and/or just make your phone work harder than it needs to. Then Android memory management is more sophisticated at what it does than you are, so it's almost always better to not micromanage any of the processes and things running in the background.

My first post. I am new to Android programming but have been writing software since 1987.

I am having difficulty finding where in the sdk the packages are. I get this kind of error:

package android.graphics does not exist

My goal is to build Android apps from the command line using pure Java. I want to have all the libraries I need on my hard drive without having to download any more once a new one is used.

I used Android Studio to create the initial pure Java app and it does build properly there. Now I am using javac that is included with the sdk. I found one package appcompat-1.2.0-sources.jar buried in the gradle/caches directory. Not sure how it ended up there but moving that to where javac can access it, got rid of one of the 'does not exist' errors. I moved android.jar from the sdk there too but it didn't help. I just need to know where the other packages are.

One of the let us say quirks about the LG V40 is that when you utilize the cameras any music or other streaming will be cut off. I guess this is some kind of battery saving feature. Now I have a Google Pixel camera software apk ported to my device and its camera and video are exempt from this battery saving feature. So I recently filmed a video while streaming music which came out as a great soundtrack for the video. The audio was loud and nice and clear. So this is an option.

Only mobile data not working? Or is the network connection not there either? Did you turn your cell phone off and on again? Is the mobile data connection turned on? Is the SIM card recognized by the device? You can do that in settings at the bottom 'phone info' and then directly select the first 'status' and then directly select the first 'simkartestatus' again or on mobile data and check your apn connection there, at the top right on the 3 dots, and then apn send back to default values, restart mobile phone

try it the other way.....go to google photos and share it via fb.

you should also be able to download the photo from google photo onto your phone.....and then fb should be able to see it.

I received some viable solutions, which I will try. If there are any other solution without rooting or flashing, that would be great. Thanks.

Hello, i have bought fishfinder that uses its own wifi network to transfer data to smartphone (lowrance fishhunter 3d if it matters). When i connect to it, it keeps going on and off from the network. After some digging from internet i guess my phone keeps trying to relog into the wifi because it sees network has no internet and keeps attempting to restart connection. But i havent found any settings to disable that feature.

Is android phone nowdays unable to connect into wifi network that has not internet?

Oh and im using oneplus 5, with latest update auto-updater offers
