Which data are you talking about anyway? There are many different types of data that may be synced, so "syncing data" is rather ambiguous. Some, such as calendars & contacts, are common to all devices. Others, such as individual app's settings, are specific to the device the app it installed on. And you can enable syncing of some sorts of data without doing others.

I'm mostly talking about things like pages I visited in chrome and my site settings and bookmarks. And apps Ive had on the other phone at one point and especially with most my research done on the Google app, I want to sync any history from getting caught in a "click hole" synced so I can. Some back to am article later if I remember while the kids have the other phone.

A Galaxy Tab 2 is an eight year old device, there's a good chance that whatever router you have is using newer WiFi protocols than this tablet can support.
What router model do you have? Most will be using newer protocols by default but some do include support for older ones (i.e. 802.11b) if you manually reconfigure its settings.
But given how dated this tablet is, there are software and hardware limitations to seriously consider -- there are unavoidable security and privacy issues involved so be very, very judicious doing anything online. It's old device running an operating system and apps that have been abandoned for several years.

unfortunately i do not recognize that icon.

.....so we get this question almost on a daily basis. there are millions upon, millions of apps out there each with their own notification icon. and if you factor in that some websites (if you allow them to) can also send you notifications as well......that's a lot of icons!!!!!!!

so at best you will most likely get guesses from us. you might get lucky and someone here might recognize it, but most of these threads never get truly answered.

the only true way of knowing what an icon notification is is to go thru the phone's notifications. but as in most cases the phone is not accessible for one reason or another.

so unless you can get a hold of the phone, you might not truly know. you can always ask the owner of the phone what it is.

Just got this (ebay), used, but knox bit is 0 (yay).
After it took the update, I did setting/reset/factory reset to make sure all was clean.
So been checking it out.
US Boston ATT Prepaid.
(top floor of 20 story building)(note I can go up a floor to the level of the HVAC stuff and get clean sig and clear view of sats/GPS)

4g sig is weak inside apt (new windows/steel/concrete etc) not as good as Moto X4 for phone call sig strength, so trying "4G LTE signal boot" app but open to other suggestions!!! <-------
Changed: trying "Network Signal Strength Speed Booster"

Takes nice pics! even in twilight. (HDR = on)

BUT, I called myself via Skype and phone kept on ringing even when it went to voicemail. Why? Way to stop that? Didn't stop ringing until I hung up on voicemail.

Yes my touch acreen is working since I can still use it in normal mode. I flashed 6.0.1 version and still had the problem where I couldnt slide or click on twrp recovery mode. I dont know what to do...
