How to convert GPS data to google map routes and display them

Hi everyone,
i want to write an app that saves my GPS data when driving with the car and then use this data to display my driving route with google maps. I don't know where to start, there are so many examples but i found no examaple for my use case.

best regards
well to start it would be better if you post this in the Android Development Forum

but i'll just ask the mods to move this thread there for you.

just an fyi, google maps already does this. at the very bottom you will see a tab called "Saved"....just scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you will see an option called "Your Timeline"....select that and it will show you the time and place you visted and for how long you were there. i service aquariums for busniesses and private homes and use this feature on a daily basis.

so i'm not sure how much of a interest will be in your app if you make one.....unless you devise an app specifically to help out with deliveries and routes.

Wi-Fi logging location

If you're on a rooted device the wpa_supplicant.conf file retains that info, and what gets displayed or not can be determined by toggling that option.
/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf
If your device isn't rooted, you can see that same data-set using an app like
MiXplorer Silver :D

My device is not rooted--but MiXplorer gives me access to the entire device. I had already found--but dismissed without looking at it!--the file you mentioned. From its name, I deduced that it was a configuration file, not a log.
you can see that same data-set using an app like 'WiFi Analyzer (open-source)' by just tapping on a WiFi entry to display its details:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vrem.wifianalyzer&hl=en_US
I have an app coincidentally named 'WiFi Analyzer,' but hadn't even thought of looking in it. I was thinking strictly OS-level log file.

As for 'verbose'...believe me, *I* know what that means! :o Most of my posts are quite guilty of being verbose, but I give explicit details to be sure they're clear to the OP.

Thanks for your help, @svim. :)

Help Recovery of Deleted Images in My Files - Samsung Galaxy S8+

Welcome to Android Forums, tpacker! :)

Unfortunately, once files are deleted they're usually impossible to recover.

You said you used the My Files app to delete them. Some things to try: find where the app stores its working files, and look for them there. For example, my favorite file manager, MiXplorer, stores its cache and other files in /Android/data/com.mixplorer.silver:

From there, navigating through its sub-directories, I see various files stored in its directories:

I don't use its [or any apps'] recycle bin, but if I did it would most likely be found here. Try exploring until you find where My Files stores its working files--it's possible it saved your images temporarily when you deleted them.

Also, scour your device for hidden directories like ".$recycle_bin$" or ".some_app.trash" or similar. And double-check My Files to see if it has a recycle bin and you had it turned on.
FoneLab did a scan but did not find the images, which are not in the Gallery trash.

A message says that the images will be permanently deleted in 30 days.
It had to find something or else it couldn't have said they'd be permanently deleted later. :) So try my suggestions above.

Finally, are you sure your photos weren't automatically being backed up? For example, by Google Photos [the most likely choice], Dropbox, Amazon Photos, etc. Check those, too!

APP DEVELOPMENT

I'm looking for ways to get an app created. I have an excel workbook with macros and needs help trying create app based in it. Any recommendations on how to? Freelancers, sites to find people to do it for me?

Hey. I think you need to find a good company that will provide good service. I recently was working with a group of them. Not so far ago I started my own business. It is kind of start up. In order to develop it I needed a good custom application for smartphones. My friend recommended one company Kitek. They appeared to be professionals and followed all my recommendations. I am really thankful that I found this guys. Also I'm planning to create a website in addition to this app. What do you think? Will it be profitable?

Cases changed the data from Google to Huawei P40 Pro.

i'm sorry, but i do not quite understand what your issue is. are we talking about a soccer game? what game is it? what google phone did you have? not sure what C-R and Hazard are. are they games?
sorry for making your confused... yes Messi and Hazard are all in the game, problem is to transfer the game data from Android to Huawei system, it is not so gamer friendly. :)
